So when you go into Venice, you cannot park in the city. You have to find a parking space outside of the city. My husband and I had all of our very expensive ski gear in the trunk of our car. I researched and looked at lots of blogs about where to park, we decided to park at the garage San Marco, which is right outside of the city. It’s by the bus stops all of the water taxis.

Very convenient so a lot of people wrote that they didn’t like leaving their keys with the parking garage. but the minute we pulled up the guys were very professional they took our key they parked us. All of our thousands of dollars worth of ski gear was untouched when we came back to the car.

Best part is they charge on a 24 hourly basis so we had to pay for two days at $45 a day. Best money spent. Don’t be cheap. If you want to go into Venice park your car this place and pay the money it’s worth it .

The best garage in Venice. It is a bit expensive, but it is safe and insured. 40e is the whole day, if you are up to 6 o'clock it was 20e

We had a great experience with the Garage San Marco - even though it is quite pricey (90 Euros for two days).
Arriving at the garage there were parking attendants guiding us to the right floor, and at the destination floor one was in control of the space management.
Please note; Your car will most likely be moved by the parking attendant during the stay, since it is a confined space - why you might have to leave your car key in the car.
Leaving the garage was easy. Pay at the counter, and pick up your car at the designated floor. The park attendant at the floor will help you out, and stamp your papers for easy checking out at the garage exit.
We found the security of the garage quite good.
One word of advice; The ramps up and down are quite curvey, so go slow (especially if you have a big car).

We used Garage San Marco recently and from the online reservation to check out was excellent.

Once we got near the garage, there was a huge line. We bypassed the lines and drove around to the garage, told the parking attendant we had a reservation.

Waited a minute for him to vector us in and we drove into the garage. Pulled into the garage and we were able to reorganize our stuff we were bringing (and leaving) in the car.

You can either walk across the wide bridge to catch a water taxi or a vaporetto. But we found out that there’s a faster way to catch a taxi, by going through the parking lot, bus stop across from the garage to the pier.

Check out was easy, we arrived earlier than our afternoon check out. Paid at the counter. Our car was on the ground floor, which made it easy.

Definitely would recommend this garage.

***we were late (1 hour) for our check-in reservation. I sent an email, FB message (got a response automatically). There’s a 2 hour grace period to hold your spot.

Although a bit pricy, it is a parking inside city. Very polite and helpful hosts. Unusual is the leaving a car unlocked and keys on the dash, but it's only a fire regulation. Just make sure to book in advance.

We went without booking as we didn't have time to research much. Paid 20 euros for 4 hrs. We were 20 mins late but the Attendant didn't charge us extra. Good experience.

Try to make a reservation in advance to avoid the long wait.
At least talk to someone in the google chat and take a screenshoot and show it to the guys at the entrance .

We had a fantastic experience using this garage when we stayed in Venice for a night. I would recommend reserving online as others mentioned, we did not because we first found out from our host that this is a garage they have a deal with shortly before we arrived. But to our luck the views were amazing from the top floor of the garage!! Despite the very narrow spiral ramps - we had a car so it wasn’t too bad but I was surprised at the number of vans and SUVs at the top.

Overall good exp, we booked in advance and when we reached the site they directed us to the level where an attendant is waiting to park the car. Leaving was just as hassle free.

For all non-European clients. I required parking for 48 hours for a rental vehicle in Venice. I did a lot of research and found 3 parking places on Venice island. Garage San Marco was a little more expensive than the other 2 options, but this is absolutely worth it since the other 2 places had reviews about cars broken into and items stolen. When I read the reviews for Garage San Marco, I was a little concerned that I need to leave the car keys with the parking attendant. Since this was a rental vehicle, I was not sure if this was ok. But I am super happy with the service from Garage San Marco. I booked and paid before arrival, had 0 waiting time, and collected my vehicle in perfect order 48 hours later. I can HIGHLY recommend this garage. For anyone concerned with leaving the keys at the garage, this was a really safe option for me and on both arrival and departure, the security was excellent. Thank you Garage San Marco for making my Venice say easy and safe!

Prime real estate in a perfect location. It was worth every penny of the 32 Euros for 10 hours of parking, which is plenty of time to explore Venice for one day. The parking is tight, and the drive to the 7th floor was even tighter in a larger vehicle but totally worth the effort. We got lucky enough to get a spot early in the morning, but I highly recommend reserving at least 6 hours in advance to make sure you get a spot. They fill up quickly! The parking attendants were much nicer than I'm used to in the US.

It was a bit strange that we had to leave the car open and leave the key inside but at the end nothing happened and the car was safe all the time. There is a great view from the top. I parked on floor 7 and it was great driving up although for not experienced drivers it will be a challenge.

Great and secure parking in Venice. We were concerned about leaving our keys in the car, but there were no issues at all. There are many parking attendants on every floor to make sure there are no thefts. Highly recommend

Pleasant experience. Very well organized and seems safe as they watch the cars. You have to leave your keys and they moved our car to different location. Nothing was missing. It's €45 per day, so there are cheaper options but they outdoor and not attended. This seemed safer for overnight parking.

Expensive, but worth the money, because it is literally in the city. And every hour in Venice is priceless 😍. Also, some notice that the turns up and down are "super tight", I wouldn't say that. On vw passat had no problem getting on the 7th floor. They have a total of 8 floors.

Pre ordere online and it worked out nicely. A bit expensive though; yet it is Venice.

A couple of days so far, daily parking. Cost was between 35 and 45 euros each day, depending on amount of time parked. Both times we parked on the 8th floor. Our rental was a VW 9 passenger van that was easy to navigate throughout the spiral ramps. Best if you drop your passengers off while you are waiting to be told what floor to go to. Leave the keys in the car, one less thing to carry. Friendly staff when you greet in Italian but the staff speaks English pretty well.

Great set-up for a Venetian parking garage. There was an attendant when you pull up who took the reservation code, then directed us to the allocated floor depending on when we were leaving and the size of our vehicle. Once we reached that floor, another attendant showed us where to park. Very well organized.

Great location. From there you can take Vaporetto No 2, 5.2 or 6 to Venice. As a garage it is little bit narrow for larger cars when you are driving to upper floors. Everything is well organized as you are approached by the staff already in front of the garage. You have to leave key in car. Also it is mandatory to make reservations before arrival.
