Ristorante Al Buso

I come here every time I come to Venice and was very happy to dine here by myself for my last meal of this trip. Ristorante Al Buso is very reasonably priced offering super tasty food with a stunning view of the Rialto Bridge. My favourite is the Spaghetti Vongole with a nice Barolo, it doesn’t get much better! Will be back again for sure on my next visit.

Amazing place. I’d wanted to get dinner by the water, but all the restaurants around it I thought were far too expensive for a relatively mediocre rating. And then I found this place.

I got here at about 7 pm, and the place wasn’t busy. I was seated right by the wtaer, and spent the following hour or so watching the gondolas, eating fish and drinking aperol spritz. I have to mention that I was alone. For lone travelers, this place is amazing - a great view, good food, good drinks. The waiters were the perfect cross between attentive and not bothersome and I would recommend anyone to come here.

Great location, great owner, good food. I can't say the same for the staff but choose anything you want from the menu don't fall for the fresh fish trap. You're not there for the fresh fish you want the views with good food. Just enjoy the moment. Reserve a table before you go.

This. Place. Was. AWESOME! Such an amazing seafood experience. The location is unbeatable. It’s right on the Rialto bridge so it’s just stunning. We are outside and the water was just gorgeous and we could hear the waves the whole time 🥰

For the food, we got the starter seafood platter and OMG!!!!!!!!!!! So amazing. We loved everything on it. For my first plate I got the seafood risotto and no joke - best risotto I’ve had in my life. It was the perfect al dente. We split a main for the sea bass and it was just so good.

We tried every dessert on the menu and loved them all 💕🥰🥵 I really really had a great time and experience and I highly recommend this place for seafood and a good view.

What a location !!! Eating dinner right on the riverside as Gondolas float by. Pasta with mussels was by far the best food that I had on my trip and the service was friendly and attentive. The feeling that you are almost under the Rialto bridge as you are dining only adds to the ambiance. Considering the fantastic location it was not that expensive.

Celebrated my 50th birthday here before joining our cruise. Lovely Italian restaurant in the most amazing location next to the Rialto Bridge. Beautiful place on the edge of the canal where we watched the sunset. Very atmospheric. Our waiters were so friendly and extremely nice guys. We had a seafood platter and seafood linguine which were simply delicious. Couldn't have wished for a better evening with my husband and very special friends.

A well placed small restaurant…cool in an otherwise hot day. Good value considering the location- there is no point going on about €€ if you decide to visit Venice -it’s like eating Lamb-you will enjoy it at the time however feel just a little guilty (about what you spend €€) afterwards and to the toilets ( anyone who has read my reviews know I rate the loo) clean and fresh -but small no room to ‘swing a cat ‘ but why would you? So well done to the staff-I see people walk around -stop -and move on-thinking there is better ‘round the corner’ if it is time to eat and you are here-Stop-you could do a lot worse believe me -PS :-lunch we had Dorada fish between us -one word Excellent-I don’t use this word often AND with so many places-we would come back here !!!

Loved the food, the location, no complaints!

A small restaurant with a particular interesting view of the main channel in Venice, if you decide to have a terrace seating, that is. The menu is more towards high-end and the serving is fast. The staff knows English very well. Highly recommended, especially if you are after a great view of Venice.

The food was excellent, best we had in Venice. The service was quick but could be a bit more attentive. Come here for the view and people watching. Right at the Rialto bridge and on the water. We were seated immediately with no wait around 5:30. Would definitely return.

Amazing sit down spot right next to Rialto Bridge. We enjoyed alcohol in the shade with an uninterrupted view.

Lovely place just by the famous Rialto Bridge. We were lucky enough to have a table outside by the grand canal and the bridge. The bruschetta and lasagna was fantastico!

Great seafood. They change some of the menu based on freshness. We had octopus, shrimp, mussels, and squid. All good choices with fresh pastas. Nice wine too. Thoughtful service from the staff. The view is unbeatable if you sit waterside

Best pasta I’ve ate in Italy, friendly and polite staff and speedy service. Also located in a very busy area of Venice it still manages to offer an outside space away from the caos and noise and very intimate. Would recommend to anybody visiting venice.

This place is famous for its seafood, especially risotto and baked fish. Nicola and Giorgia who own the restaurant are an absolute delight and really kind. The risottos are especially delicious.

Note that in Europe it’s normal to include service in the check and 12% is very average. The location is hard to beat right next to the Rialto bridge and this is a lovingly run family business.

Prices are absolutely in line if you consider the quality and location.
