Spiaggia Marina Grande

A quiet, small beach at the port of Capri. The waters are so warm, quiet and clear despite the fact it's near the port. I really enjoyed swimming here!

This beautiful beach was amazing!
Our first destination in Amalfi. There is a public beach and private area too with beach beds. The beach beds would cost around 20-25 Euros per person on some areas more. There were no toilets or changing rooms, atleast we couldn’t find any. Grab something in a restaurant to use the toilets I would say.
We spend a lovely time here at the beach. Water is clear and the waves aren’t very strong so it worth getting into the water here.
The backdrop of the mountain and the colourful houses makes it look so pretty 😍

Highly recommend this place, there is shopping streets too. Go further away form the beach to buy food it ll save you money

We loved this free public beach. Does get super busy as expected. Bring water shoes as the rocks hurt your feet a little!

A small rocky beach on the Capri island. We spent couple of hours in the evening there while waiting for our Ferry. Very relaxing experience.

Better than Positano's beach because you can find a place to sit on the rock sand without having to pay

What a fun time, sitting at the marina, people watching and enjoying a meal while the gulls were being entertained. The colors here are brilliant. Take lots of photos is you go to Capri and be sure and take a boat tour around the island. Lots of history and lots of beauty.

The only public beach on Capri. Beautiful waters but very small and will become very crowded by tourists, it is best to arrive quite early or if you’re staying on the island, later in the evenings when most have returned to the mainland.

Amazing place, great view and many places to dine in and shop.

I love the fact that there are no plastic chairs at the beach, kids friendly and a chill environment. 100% recommended.

Nice place. Water clean and warm. Small and big rocks beach. You can rent sunchair for 10€ at Zio Ciccio bar, but you can also use your own towels in the free zone. Wc 0,50€. Cash only. No dogs allowed.

This beach was awesome! We really enjoyed cooling off here in a hot summer day in July. It was crowded and the beach was rocky...but the water was incredible.

The beach is pretty small and quite rocky; don't expect fine sand and a lot of space to lay out. That being said if you arrive before 11am you should have plenty of space to hang. There are also outcroppings from concrete pillars and piers in some places so you can also sit up there. It's a great place to relax even a little after the craziness that is the port of Capri. If you want food and drink then head to Le Odine Beach Club right next door and enjoy the views there as well.

I’m not a huge beach fan but the water was stunning, the beach is all pebbles but nothing to complain about. Busy but not overly crowded and pockets of shade everywhere, recommended
