The food here is incredible. We, a large party of adults and children of all ages, were seated quickly and treated to delicious dishes, with exceptional and attentive service. Stop and enjoy the menu for as long as possible, everything was memorable.

I had the most enchanting dining experience at Restaurant Da Gelsomina in Anacapri! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere embraced me. The menu was a delightful journey of authentic flavors, expertly crafted and beautifully presented. The locally sourced ingredients shone through in every dish, capturing the essence of Italian cuisine. The breathtaking panoramic views of the island's landscape added a magical touch to the meal, making it an unforgettable evening. The attentive staff's impeccable service and the charming ambiance truly made this restaurant a hidden gem. Dining at Restaurant Da Gelsomina was an absolute highlight of my trip – a culinary masterpiece coupled with a truly idyllic setting. Don’t miss the Pasta Caprese-the most iconic on the Island.

My wife and I dined here during our honeymoon. It's such a special location and experience going to this restaurant. Obviously all the food and wine is great. But we also had the best view and sunset experience of our entire trip at this restaurant- it was gorgeous.

Also it is very nice to walk here from from the center/bus stop in Anacapri. It's a lot of peaceful, green, residential space surrounding it which is fairly unusual for a restaurant. There is also more space to walk around nearby outside the restaurant, gardens, great views down the road, etc.

STUNNING location! One of the best views on the island! Not only a visually stunning restaurant, it has incredible food and wonderful staff! Farm to table, we toured the gardens before taking our seats and the crops are just lovely!

For our meal- The zucchini flowers stuffed with the most mouth watering ricotta, delicious! The traditional raviolis, ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! The sword fish, outstanding! And the deserts …. Just heavenly! Everything we ate, we adored and it just got better and better!

Very friendly staff who make wonderful suggestions on the menu! We even had the pleasure to meet the kitchen staff and personally thank them for the memorable meal!

I highly recommend this restaurant! You will dream about this meal for years to come!

We absolutely loved this magical experience! The ravioli and the tiramisu are the best I have ever had and the atmosphere is stunning. From the view, to the subtle music and the lighting. You must experience this when in Capri!!

The view is fantastic. But the sun goes down and it's pretty dark out there. So, instead go for the food and the service. Some regional favorites served with a smile.

Spectacular views, great for sunset/dinner! Super attentive staff, we took a glass of wine to the viewpoints nearby (as recommended by the waiter)and food was delicious! Prices were according to the quality of the food. Best food experience in Capri!

An amazing restaurant, amazing staff and even personal pick up and drop off close to our hotel. The view, the meal and everything about this place is amazing. Highly highly recommend.

It’s also off the beaten track so it’s a little quieter than the super touristy areas. Recommended for all occasions but especially if you are trying to have a romantic date night.

Nice restaurant with a great sunset view over wine yards. Off the busy roads of Capri, but you can still get there by free shuttle offered by restaurant, just make a reservation. Professional and kind staff. Food was pretty good, but not excellent.

Amazing food. Simple ingredients yet full of flavor and cooked to perfection. A must try! We went to Aurora, Fontalina etc. I have to say, I think this was above all!

I have not encountered this restaurant in any of my research prior to coming to Capri but came on the recommendation from our host at our hotel who helped to book reservations. He told us that we would have an amazing experience at this restaurant in Anacapri but when I looked on the map, it was actually outside of town! I wondered how we would get there considering we only had bus tickets as tourists. It's simple, the restaurant offers a complimentary shuttle service from Anacapri to the restaurant and back.

Once we arrived, I knew that we were somewhere special! Thanks to our reservations, we were given a stunning table by the window where we could witness the magnificent Capri sunset as this restaurant is facing west and is famous for or their sunset views.

I can tell you that their food was just as impressive as the the setting sun! The service was top-notch and on point from the experienced wait staff. All of the food was expertly prepared and incredibly fresh especially the seafood. We ordered a local fish that was prepared with olives and capers and it was absolutely delicious. This was a truly memorable dining experience and one that we will not forget for a long time from Capri!

Oh my, the best place to eat. The views are breath taking. Take a quick walk down the path before you eat and the views are surprisingly beautiful.

We visited this stunning family run agritisimo in July 2023, the heat of summer and tourist season.
They were the most generous and accomodating establishment we have visited to date!

Da Gelsomina restaurant is one of the best of the Capri restaurant. The same family for generations has handed down the classic Caprese recipes such as the famous ravioli, the brick chicken and the hunting rabbit. There is a small vineyard from which an excellent and fresh white wine is obtained. They offert a pick up service from Anacapri - do not miss it!

Hotel: We had an excellent 2 night stay. The rooms have a breathtaking view, really big terrace, rooms are a bit old but very clean. I wish they would have less plastic in the bathroom (plastic cups ...). Free shuttle to the town was great. Staff was amazing.

Dinner: We had great dinners, lovely sunsets, 2 nice viewpoints nearby, good wine, good food.

Truly a hidden gem with a 25-min pleasant walk out of Anacapri. Traditionally prepared foods with fresh and homegrown ingredients with a wide selection of wines. Friendly and lovely services. They really do take your dietary restrictions seriously, though we had none. Definitely be back again. There is a beautiful walk passed the restaurant. It was definitely the view for sunset. There is also a free pick up service to and from the center of Anacapri. Though if you don't mind the walk, do the walk. It was so enjoyable seeing locals and homes along the way.

One of the most idyllic restaurants I have ever been to, the sunset is just spectacular but the food is on another planet, the rabbit pasta and the king prawns are incredible. Home-made wine that is probably up there with the cleanest and freshest wines I have ever drank! Could not recommend this place any higher!

My wife and I visited the Amalfi Coast and Capri for our five year anniversary. The best, and I mean the best, food we had was at Da Gelsomina. We came one evening for dinner. We came back the next night for dinner. The third day we were fortunate a room just happened to free up unexpectedly, and we stayed the night changing our bed and breakfast despite no refund from the prior place! I am amazed by the environment that the family has cultivated (simply beautiful, natural), the kindness and warmth and the dedication of the entire team. The whole space is so well thought out and integrated it was a privilege to be there. The team is world class and over the top in terms of making one feel welcome and at home. I hope you have the chance to stay, to visit this bucolic paradise overlooking the sea!

Very nice dinner. They pick you up in a car in the square of Anacapri. They have gardens and grow many of their own vegetables. Very friendly people. Dinner was very good. I had the chicken and we split the ravioli. Dessert, pictured, may have been the best part.
