We were on a mission to find this little gem when it opened at 6:00PM. When we finally found it, we were initially disappointed to see all the outdoor tables with a "reservation" listed on them. We still asked about the possibility of dinner, and staff was very responsive and asked if it was ok to sit inside. It was a very charming and quiet dinner. The waitress helped us translate the entire menu. She was very helpful! The shrimp pasta with pesto was wonderful. Nice, out-of-the-way spot!

Had the pleasure to come to this place after a bad experience in another restaurant. Waitress was super nice and the food was good. Price was well between the regular prices in the city. The salmon was very well prepared.

Nice small restaurant off the beaten path. Food was excellent. We got the codd and snapper patte and mussels for appetizer and the squid ink pasta for our main. Staff very friendly, menu is handwritten in Italian but our waitress offered to translate. We made a reservation so we could sit outside.

We were received by a very friendly waitress and she was very nice and attentive. Food was amazing and we enjoyed some nice wine with it. Would recommend!

The food was lovely we had this big plate of Mussel and clam pasta. It did get a bit too overwhelming the taste of garlic at the end but the first half was excellent. Menu was quite difficult to read handwritten menu so that was bit of a challenge to read. Waiter was nice and explained the bits we couldn’t read/understand. The overall ambiance and everything else was brilliant.

Amazing Osteria with many local favourite dishes. Very accommodating and friendly. A fun place for a meal in Venice, especially if you want to get away from tourist areas.

A true gem close to Rialto. We had an amazing experience at a true local osteria run by two fun ladies. We were welcomed by Betti (Beatrice?) who speaks a mix of Venetian dialect, Italian and (for non Italian speaker) a decent English and she treated us with great hospitality and humor. Service was fast and efficient. Everything on a handwritten limited menu was just excellent and well priced. Will certainly come back. Don’t forget to book your table as space is limited. Try their suggested local red wine Polveriera from Piovene Porto Godi. I got so crazy about it. Betti gave me a bottle for free to take home…. It was her birthday so it was her way to celebrate. What a wonderful host!

Favorite restaurant in Venice to bring visitors. It’s off the beaten path in a cozy corner next to a canal and bridge. The highlight is the woman who runs the restaurant. The food has never disappointed. Can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend.

Some of the best food we had in Venice. Delicious and traditional Venician fare with lots of amazing seafood options and a menu that changes daily which made things feel really special. The octopus ragu will be discussed for years to come between my husband and I! Great service, not sure what the other reviews were saying, honestly assuming it's tourists not respecting other cultures. Wait staff offered to help us with the menu, made us feel cozy and comfortable and we even got to say hi to a dog!!

Wonderful food and wonderful people. It recently moved from its original spot near Campo S Barbara but the food and ambience is unchanged. I dream of their pastas when back home in San Francisco.

We popped in on the day and they fitted us in later in the night even though very busy. Kind service and clear explanations of food when asked (only Italian menu). Not touristy, full of charm. Limited menu, but I think this is because this is just what they do well and not catering to tourist ideas of Italian food. Wonderful and wish we could go again.

One of the most funny (funny haha not funny weird) dinners i’ve EVER had! The lady that waited our table was soooooo fun! She made us laugh so much, making fun of us and ppl at neighboring tables. We immediately fell in love! Plus the food was great! I took the black squid pasta with my brother and i can say it is superb! Come here

We got a few glasses of wine here, a lot of places won’t sit you outside if your not ordering food, the girls that work here were great, we enjoyed our stop here at night, perfect spot in the evening

One of our favorites in Venice. They have moved some time ago but nothing was changed. The same quality and always fresh fish. May be not so crowded as the former place but we were here in November. Definitely highly recommended!

Sweet little place to have some wine and cicchetti. The service was wonderful and the tables outside were great to sit and people watch.

Very nice local restaurant. great ostessa who recommended fantastic white wine with the home made pasta with gamberoni and asparagus. Loved the segafredo as well. Would recommend.

Many years before I wrote a review on Trip Advisor stating that this is the best spaghetti vongoli in Venice. I sticking with that review today.
