Krónan

Huge choice of products, especially big section with fresh fruits and veggies. It's definitely one of the biggest Krónan shops in here. Free parking lot right outside the shop.

If you're staying outside of Reykjavík, or more pertinently, in Mosfellsbær, or are passing through while enjoying the 1 route, it's a good place to restock supplies. Really good selection of fruit and veg as well as copious amounts of raw chicken and meat. Plenty of soft drinks too and other necessities around the shop. If you can you must try the Ídýka (it's in a little round pot near the milk) with pretzels. It's a cheese and cream based sauce and I've never had anything like it. Also goes well with bread :).

Not as expensive as expected. Has every kind of food. Nearby bakery sandwiches were lovely!

Slightly more expensive than Bónus but vastly superior shopping experience. Items are presented well and there is enough space for everyone.
