Our family of 4 stayed here in a large room with kitchenette. It's a lovely place; quiet, clean and a tremendously helpful and friendly staff. The location seemed a bit remote at first but within a short time we had our bearings and had no trouble navigating the city from this base. We now have family here in Reykjavik, so no longer need hotel accommodations . But if we do, Arctic Comfort will be our choice.

At first the location seemed inconvenient, but it was a short bus ride to central Reykjavik. The rooms were a good size for the price. The staff repeatedly went above and beyond to assist me when I had problems with my bus. They also made good food recommendations. Would stay here again, they made a 24 hour layover quite pleasant.

Budget friendly hotel, not too far from city centre.
Everyday cleaning service, hot water and cold water tap is available.
They have a bar in case you want to enjoy it.. also they have breakfast available in case if you are in hurry and want to have it.
They have microwave which will help to warm your food if you will request the receptionist. The staff is very friendly and supportive. rooms are spacious and not at all compact.

Inexpensive, casual and clean. Located near "Roff" my favorite bakery. No elevator, but the third floor rooms are airy have a nice view and worth the few steps.

Lovely budget friendly hotel, staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day and the breakfast, if you choose to have it for an extra fee, is like eating in your own kitchen. Its is approximately 15 minutes from the Kringlan Shopping Centre on foot but its 10mins in a taxi to the city centre. The room was basic, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean and the kitchenette in the room was brilliant. There is a small bar in the lobby for a night cap after a long day of sightseeing. Would have no problem staying in it on my next visit to Iceland

Great little hotel and stay. Staff are extremely friendly with the gentlemen on the desk going above and beyond for us. They pprovided a very tasty breakfast too as well as very comfortable beds. The rooms were basic but exactly what we needed. I play to stay here again!

Awesome service. Great prices. Good and clean rooms with a mini fridge and electric kettle and good big windows. Also, just 5 min walk to all the nearby restaurants and supermarkets. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I'd stay there when I visit again for sure!

Hotel staff really helpful and friendly. Rooms clean. Breakfast was traditional Icelandic with cereals, yogurt, waffles, toast, fruit, meats and cheese. I would definitely stay here again. It's a bit of a walk to centre but trips pick you up from the hotel anyway.

A lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable. It is a pretty long walk from the city centre but nothing too exhausting. The view from our window was absolutely amazing. Some of the mornings we could clearly see the snow capped mountains and it was amazing. On the night we saw the Northern Lights we could actually see them from the room as well. The shower was lovely too really hot coupled with high water pressure was a great combination. Would stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights this december, we booked a flights and hotel package with easyJet, we had not seen any pictures of the hotel, we had no idea what it was going to be like, we weren’t expecting much from the hotel as the price we paid was so cheap, so we did not want to look into it to be put off, we were so shocked when we walked into the room after expecting so little, the rooms are brilliant which have just what you’d need; wardrobe, fridge, tv, kettle, great size bedroom and bathroom, absolutely spotless and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We rented a car so it was in the perfect location easy to get into the city and easy to get out when we wanted to go anywhere, can honestly say this hotel was like the cherry on top of an amazing trip.

Rooms are large and functional. Location is quiet and good access to centre on foot (35 minutes) or regular bus service (5 & 15). Guys on reception were excellent - very knowledgeable and very helpful. This is not a 4* hotel and doesn't claim to be but it is good as a base and comfortable.

Fantastic hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and very patient. Gave incredibly thorough advice on what to visit and where everything in Reykjavik was. The rooms are nice, beds are very comfortable, and the facilities are perfect for resting between all the trips you'll try to fit in. Not gonna lie though the shower/toilet wall is see through at the front and the mirror seems to be perfectly positioned so that anywhere in the room you can watch someone dropping logs, and this is totally weird but otherwise great hotel!

This place has been brilliant for our trip. It's clean, and comfortable, the room is a nice temperature too. It's a good wall from the centre (40 mins?) but there is a bus stop 5 mins away that takes you straight into town for about 420kr.

This is a basic but very clean hotel just on the outskirts of the city centre. The breakfast is buffet style with a good assortment of cold meats, cheeses, biscuits and toast. Plenty of fruit juices and tea or coffee.

The location was okay, a little far away from things but the exercise wasn't bad. The staff, however, was fantastic. They were extremely helpful and very nice. I would highly recommend the hotel just for the staff.

Great for being a 3-star hotel. Nice beds, shower, fridge/freezer and room overall. Nothing to complain about. Should be noted we stayed in the "superior room".
