Another red-roof church ✅

This super sweet church is located in Hellnar right along 574 before the town of Arnarstapi.

She's not as polished as others but she has history and a scenic backdrop.

If you are visiting Iceland for its churches I'd defiantly give this small one some love ❤

A small church located on top of a hill in a small costal village in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula that could use some repairs. It is located in a scenic area with a sea and Mountainous landscape. Very quiet and peaceful with not many visitors. Free parking and an information board; the church was not open. If you are in the area it is worth the stop to take pictures.

Beautiful little church. Unfortunately it was in a much better shape 20 years ago when the roads still were gravel and not paved
