Guesthouse Stekkaból

We only stayed for one night but as soon as I walked in the door I wished we had more nights booked. The outside of the building is nothing special, but the inside is so home-y and well done! The breakfast was delicious—included waffles, yogurt, bread, cheese, fruit—and really all you could ask for. The rooms/bathrooms were also very nice, though you have to share a bathroom with other guests. There was a patio and balcony for sitting outside. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.

Stayed in a double room on the main floor with a shared bathroom. Bit loud with people going in and out but just fine. Staff was friendly and even made us reservations at a recommended restaurant when we didn’t know where to eat dinner. Outdoor shower was fun. Great view from main room balcony.

A lovely little guest house with a great view. It has shared bathrooms (it's a guesthouse, not a hotel).

The breakfast was nice, the staff are friendly, and I would absolutely stay again.

A very, very friendly guest house: fantastic view from the lounge, really nice breakfast buffet, functional rooms with a loving touch, the outdoor shower is a lot of fun - the staff is just great (the team plays in the world league) - keep it up!

Note: a picture on the internet shows a pool - it belongs to the local swimming pool, about 200 meters away.

I loved this place! The staff is very friendly. The rooms beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. Bathrooms are great, newly renovated, with nice heating in the floor. The house is so cozy and welcoming. They have outdoor showers for the Viking experience! The kitchen spacious enough to do decent cooking. Breakfast was amazing, fresh waffles and warm chocolate breads. Definitely recommend to stay here!

Very friendly team, good spot in the southern part of the Westfjords, small but comfortable room, well furnished kitchen and clean shared bathroom. Nothing to regret

Such an amazing guesthouse! Great location, lovely lobby with the cutest decor, delicious breakfast! Our room was clean and spacious, although located in the back of the building with not much natural light. There were quite a few rooms on the ground floor but we had no issues queuing in the WC and the bathroom! We loved our stay there!
N.B. Masks are not obligatory for the guests or the staff.

Great Guesthouse with friendly staff, great breakfast (better than many hotels I've been to), clean and cozy rooms. If you want to stay in Patreksfjörður, this is a great place.

We were there in June 2019. That was a nice, cozy, quiet place to stay.
Surrounded by unspoiled nature. Breakfast was good, generous options of bread, sausages and cereals.
They have a lot of collections of books surprisingly.
Really recommend this place.

Hip & super comfy. They had the most comfortable bed in Iceland no doubt! The place is spotless, super clean, decorated beautifully, the views from the windows of the fjord are breathtaking, rich breakfast, shared kitchen, all the facilities you need, and super friendly staff as well.

This is a lovely guesthouse! The whole place seems to have been redecorated recently, with super clean, modern and tastefully decorated rooms; a nice bathroom with tons of towels and even thoughtful little touches like cotton buds etc; and THE nicest breakfast we had in Iceland (home made bread, jams and porridge; fresh waffles; chia seeds and other seed mixes, delicious smoked trout and all the other usual things you'd find like cheeses and hams - yum!). Staff were very nice too - always smiling.

Was the best stay of our journey so far. The rooms and bathroom and also the kitchen were very clean. The kitchen provided everything necessary for cooking. From the outside it didn't look modern but the guesthouse is a real suprise inside. The breakfast was outstanding.

Very nice guesthouse with indoor and outdoor showers for motivated people. Nice breakfast. Only issue is the renovation of the house, it's too bad it's not finished correctly, I hope it will be done during the next winter for the next season.
