Arnarstapi Cottages

Stayed in their cottages in August 2023 the cottage is cozy with great views over the ocean and the area is a great centre for accommodation, sightseeing, and dining!

Highly recommend a visit!

These cottages r so cute! They r spacious and modern. Arnarstapi is a very qute place with plenty of food options. There are numerous hiking trails as well. My wife and I really enjoyed staying at the cottages. Highly recommend!

The Arnarstapi Cottages are warm and completely cozy. The beds are big and comfortable, the room temperature was easy to control, and the ample shower was a fantastic change from the tiny showers at most other cottages around iceland.

The only slightly odd thing is that you can’t park near your cottage, you have to unload everything then park your vehicle in the lot out front. Overall a fantastic place to stay in Arnarstapi.

We really loved staying in that tiny cottage! At first, it was a little strange as we were unsure about where to check in. We went across the street to a restaurant, to ask, and that was actually the check in place! Our cottage was clean, and just a few steps to the ocean front. It was great that breakfast was included too. There was a fridge, microwave and coffee pot (but make sure you stock up on groceries before arriving, because the closest grocery store that we would find was an hour away). We didn't have any issue with the employees.
I highly recommend staying at one of these cottages.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay! Superb views and amazing spot to watch the local tern colony. I just loved these cottages.

Peaceful location with one of the larger rooms we’ve stayed in…it’s amazing in the evening to crack the large window and listen to the seabirds. Hint: Check in is across the street inside the restaurant at the Arnarstapi Center.

Extremely unique surroundings, even for iceland measures. The staff of hotel and restaurant were explicitely friendly and helpful. Cottage was cozy, modern and clean. Amazing stay

Prachtige cottages, met ruime woon-/slaapkamer en een ruime, moderne badkamer. Het bed is groot en slaapt prima.
De locatie is geweldig, rustig, en vlakbij de prachtige rotskust en andere bezienswaardigheden.
Wij konden 's nachts het noorderlicht naast het huisje bekijken en fotograferen.
Minpuntje: het apart bij te boeken ontbijt bij het hotel is prijzig maar niet heel erg uitgebreid.
