Konditori Árbæjarbakarí

Visiting Iceland from the US found this great little bakery!!! We traveled quite a bit around and the breads, pastry and service here were stellar!! Many thanks!!

The staff was very friendly and kind to us despite not really understanding English or our requests. They were accommodating to our order despite not having it on the menu (baguette bread with cheese and butter toasted, you won’t regret it!!) the pastries, baguette bread and crescents were great! The coffee was good too!

This nice bakery was near our Air B&B, and we’re so glad we found them! The food is great and the people very accommodating. We are vegetarian but discovered that all the breakfast sandwiches had meat, but the baker quickly offered to make us each a vegetarian breakfast sandwich, which was delicious! The bread is very nice and the chocolate chip cookie exceptional.

The staff members there are always so lovely and always happy to see you and they give great service to anyone. I really recommend this place ❤❤

I love my neighborhood bakery! I'm addicted to the Italian baguette with salami and vegetables. Crispy and delicious. The staff is very friendly.

The sandwiches looked very unassuming but were absolutely delicious and most importantly stayed fresh all day for our exploratory adventures.

Our favorite sandwiches for the road on our travels around Iceland! We picked up sandwiches for the start of our drive up to the West fjords and on the way back, picked up another set-they were so good!
