Delicious food in a greenhouse. All tomato themed. Soup refills to your liking. Great service. They handpick 2 tones of tomato each day. You can also do horse riding there and buy some products to bring home. Bubble bees around to pollinate tomato flowers.

Amazing experience! One of my favorite meals in all of Iceland. The tomato soup is delicious and the bread as well! Highly recommend as a must stop to try!

It was absolutely great experience! Very good service! Tomato soup was amazing! They bake very delicious bread . You can have plenty of soup and bread, if you booked table ( we did it 2 months before), also coffee or tea. Cheesecake was in small plant pot, it was tasty. Warm and cosy atmosphere, especially in winter! Tomato, flowers, bees!!!Great place!

Love how they have gone all into this concept. The atmosphere is so cozy and you have all the time in the world to tour around the tomatoes 🍅. They go all in sitting in the warm light amongst the tomatoes and then have you chosen tomato dish - the soup is for sure the most famous one but the kids had a ravioli which they loved. They also have availability of kids dishes. The drinks menu offers a nice lager with tomato and varies of tomato drinks. Highly recommended to book otherwise the might not be any seats left.

Very cool place - sitting in the greenhouse was a great experience. Our server was awesome and explained some of the mechanisms used in the greenhouse.

Unlimited soup and bread was great. Best tomato soup I have ever had.

So incredible! A great experience and delicious food! The waiters are super knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and share about the greenhouses! The soup and bread are a must have obviously but the burrata and heirloom tomatoes are definitely worth getting!!! Make sure to take some time to walk around the greenhouse!

This place was just too cool! If you're into fresh food, gardening, farming, horticulture or the likes, this is worth a stop. I've been in the horticulture industry for nearly 20 years and this was a new experience for me. Blending my work with personal interests was so cool. The staff is very friendly and professional, they give you a background of the organization, how it runs and their stake in the food production industry in Iceland. The atmosphere was super relaxed and the food was delicious. Great to see ingenuity at work and helping overcome fresh produce production in a difficult climate. 100% recommend and worth the drive out into the "country side".

This was always on my list coming to Iceland as who doesn't love a good tomato soup! Hands down the freshest soup you will ever have and free refills! And a table of different and unlimited breads that will make anyone very very happy. Plenty of things to add yourself on the table, like salt, pepper, tabasco, chilli flakes as well as your own fresh basil plant per table and other things. Lots of other tomato based food and drink on the menu but we stuck with the soup and got a few tomato beers which were really good 😁 and of course you're actually sitting in the greenhouse where they grow everything you eat and drink while here. This HAS TO BE on the list if you visit Iceland and love a good warming, fresh soup in an amazing setting and atmosphere.

So cool! The tomato soup and homemade bread was amazing! Loved eating in the greenhouse surrounded by tomato vines. I did not get a Bloody Mary, but heard they were good. The apple tomato pie was great and served with whip cream.

Delicious food in the middle of the greenhouse where we can observe growing tomatoes. The best tomato soup in the world, be sure to try tomato beer, coffee and drink in tomato. A great place for me. Prices are fine, a buffet soup with delicious bread - you eat as much as you want, lick your fingers

Booked a private Icelandic horse demonstration here and we loved it. You first go into a stable where they talk about the horses and you can pet them. Then they take you outside where they show you the five different horse gaits. Really cool to get up and close to these magnificent horses. We tried their fresh tomato soup after. A great experience to get up and close for horse lovers!

An absolute delight! We came out of a cool rainy day, past the horses, and entered the warm, welcoming greenhouse like we were entering a dream. Gorgeous layout, lots of natural design touches, fabulous staff, and, of course, the tomatoes! You sit in the middle of a working greenhouse and it so elegant, but without the dressing up. We had the divine tomato soup and fresh bread buffet with a couple of nonalcoholic drinks (Healthy Mary and Mary Poppins Baby) and split the green tomato apple pie for dessert. All were fantastic. There is plenty of space to walk around and see the plants growing and the bees working. Lively wine bar looked fun. Make reservations if you want to be seated at a table. Definitely a must-see!

Amazing!!! You can not miss this stop when you visit the golden circle. Staff was so friendly and professional. Some of the best food I have enjoyed. The atmosphere was breathtaking, from the greenhouse of tomatoes you are surrounded with, clipping your own basil at your table and the smell of wonderful food. Go and you will not regret it!
Thank you so much Friðheimar

Such a great and interesting place! We did so many new things in Iceland, and this stands out as one of the things that we’ll be telling people about.

The location is great for those day tripping around the Golden Circle, and the greenhouse setting is so unique, warm and scenic.

We hadn’t booked and stopped by on a whim, and while they couldn’t accommodate us in the dining area the hostess was really helpful and suggested alternatives in their wine bar or bar for smaller snack foods or just soup. We wanted something small and opted for the bar, where the tomato soup and bread were both fantastic.

If you want a full sit-down dining experience book ahead, it looked great. The bar was perfect for a quick and tasty soup before heading back out, and the tomato beer was a fun novelty to try out.

Really fun place and worth a stop to see it.

The experience of this place was amazing 🤩
Very well welcomed and informed 🤓 by nice guy names Lukash 😎

I had a chance to try Tomatoes Ice Cream !! Can you imagine ? 😍 I fall in love !
I have seen that on the menu are much more then this ; other people had chance to try even tomatoes beer and cocktails 😀 where I guess it is worth to try each Icelandic crown because it turns out that the cultivation of these tomatoes places a strong emphasis on mineralizing water to provide the tomatoes with the necessary ingredients such as magnesium, calcium, etc.
You can also taste and see basil and the bread they bake in the greenhouse.

A very interesting concept to grow these tomatoes and have a restaurant opened inside with food made of them. The tomato soup was delicious and you can take as much as you want. The bread that is included is own home baked and I could not get enough of it, soo good!!
The waitress we had was very kind and so were the others.
You can go around and check the plants that they grow and also buy some of their products with you. All made in sizes so you can bring it with you on the plane of you don't have a bag to check in.
Really recommend to.visot this place, you won't regret for sure!

Like eating in a beautifully maintained garden of life! The greenhouse eating area is divine. The food is so flavorful. The meals can all be shared which is nice. The beer (according to young adult who ordered it) was very plain and hoppy tasting so save the $ and grab the amazing cheesecake and pie. The Burrata was incredible. You cut your own fresh basil at the table. The salt is shaved. The cheese- tomatoes — ravioli—
