Huge choice of gifts and clothes to suit all needs. Good choice of food even for us vegans. Didn’t have a great deal of time to browse through the entire store but everything looked great quality.

Amazing to see this in real life! Geysirs erupt around every 5-7 minutes,so you don't have long to wait. Good place to stop for food, shopping and toilet at the large tourist centre.

Wow! Saw real geyser, which erupts 100+ times a day and reaches 100 feets in height. Fantastic experience. And colours of the water settling down is beautiful.
The setting of this site is also unique. With having green moss covered mountains in the background adds to its beauty and makes it quite photogenic place.
One of the pool is of blue color due to sulphur content.
Site is free to visit. Ample parking. Nice cafe nearby. All in all its a great place to visit. And thanks to the management to keep it like that.

Cool stop along the Golden Circle to see the famous Strokkur geysir and geothermal fields. The center makes a good lunch stop offering 2 restaurants and a gift shop.

This is a must see natural phenomenon when visiting Iceland. Its so simple how it happens and so beautiful when it happens, just remember to not put your hand in the water (it will be hot!)

Good shopping but very expensive.
I googled a pair of shoes for £200 here. I got them at home for £60!
Geyser fun though.

Geysir restaurant is located next to the most famous hot spring area in iceland - Strokkur . rich dishes : chicken , beef , fish , most especially Grilled & grilled pork with crispy skin . Delicious taste and very enthusiastic service. Remembrance of many cute but not special items

It’s worth sight-seeing geysers but what really surprised us were the quality of fish-and-chips at the welcome center. I am not exaggerating but these were some of the best fish-and-chips I’ve had. They were way better than most of the fish and chips I’ve had at various pubs in the UK (no offense 🤷🏽‍♂)

A great stop on the Iceland golden circle. Get a great lunch, get something from the gift shop and then view the Geyser (Geysir)

It's beautiful, wild, and smelly! We found that each time the geyser erupted, it looked a little different. Sometimes the eruption is wide and shorter and sometimes it is narrow and taller. Since it happens every 5 to 7 minutes, you'll definitely catch a few different eruptions and choose your favorite. The visitor center is very well appointed with clean bathrooms, a cafe, and a large variety of gifts.

Cafeteria people were very nice. We got the fish and chips, mushroom soup and chicken salad. Everything was SO GOOD. Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Great place to stop after a few hours touring the golden circle. Service is super quick and there were lots of tables available.

A neat visitor centre to explore, a lot to see and chose from. My personal favorite there was the statue of the Thor.

Great food, both the breakfast buffet and the evening meal. The tomahawk steak was one of the best I’ve had. The location adds to the occasion.

We had a cake and coffee and it was very nice. They have few types of gluten free cakes. I had one and it was 5 star ;) Plus they have plant milk for the coffee.
