Gullfoss - Panorama Restaurant - Cafe - Shop

Very pleasant shop with large range of clothes, jewellery, books and gifts. Many gifts are made from the natural volcanic rocks such as coasters and ornaments or clothing made in the traditional style.. Nice cafe area and clean toilet facilities. Very busy but no queuing.

Super fun restaurant and gift shopping right at the Gullfoss Falls. Large car park accommodated the large crowds we saw in October. Lots of fun cold weather gear for all ages, unique gift items to take home, a nice snack area with a huge area for dining. Free parking and restrooms make this a must-do while visiting Gullfoss.

Nothing beats hot lamb soup in chilly weather! Awesome food. Comforting food.

Great place for a hearty stew at Gullfozs! The lamb stew is very filling especially with the bread and Icelandic butter. Plenty of seating and a good view out above the falls.

Busy. But well organised. The soup was excellent. Stopped here on a Tui golden circle tour.

Very tasty foods. We had fish and chips, beef gulash, and roasted pork belly.
Would recommend fish and chips, and roasted pork belly. The gulash was so-so.

The “fish” on the fish and chips was delicious. Very spacious restaurant that is connected to the souvenir shop. This was a nice stop as part of the Golden Circle ⭕ tour.

The food was delicious, and fresh. The self utensil stations are very helpful. The water was also available for self serve, and there was plenty of fresh water bottles available.

Lamb soup is amazing!! View is nice, tho you can't see the waterfall. The restaurant is not cosy and they forgot to make our food, how is that even possible?

Best fish and chips I've ever had! The apple pie was also awesome. Recommend visiting the falls after dinner, we watched the crowds thin quite a bit as we ate. Then, were able to easily get pictures with the amount of people left after our meal.

This place is quite large to support all the bus loads of tourists who probably come during peak season. It was fairly open when we were there. They service food and drinks. I had their hot chocolate which was delicious!

Very nice restaurant with a variety of options for everyone. We had lunch here after we visited the waterfall, and it was nice!

After being by the FREEEEZING!!!! Cold waterfalls of Gullfoss this place basically seems like heaven on earth.
The food and drink served is unbelievably fresh and they serve Icelandic national dishes along with your common coffees and sandwiches plus more.
I would say defenetly visit this place but if you have come out all this way for the waterfalls it is the only place available lol.
Plus there is a gift shop and clothing store available if you underestimated the weather like I did myself.

This place is absolutely breath taking. Super windy too. I went yesterday Dec 11, 2018, so I'm not sure if the wind is common or if it was due to a rain storm. There's not much more to say that the pics can't

One of our fave gift shops along our travels in Iceland! Very massive. Didn’t try the food but purchased some lovely gifts at the shop.

We visited the Gullfoss waterfalls has part of the Golden circle bus tour.
The awe inspiring views from the rocky plateau at the waterfalls were breathtaking, but there were many unique views along the well made pathways to the head of the waterfalls. The steep and arduous return was tiresome, but well worth the effort and chance for a drink and something to eat at the Gullfoss eateries and shopping centre.
I would recommend the soup cafe.we had tomato and basil soup and the tex mex with sour cream and nachos, both with crusty bread.
Very good and satisfying.

Absolutely delicious lamb stew! Can’t beat that view as well! Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful place to visit, dress warm prepare for wind and lots of mist from the falls. There is a small hike with little difficulty so it is appropriate for all ages and skill levels. Heads up if you plan to use the bathroom it cost 200isk.

It was freezing with heavy snow while we visited the Gullfoss. The Icelandic soup really helped a lot from the bad weather. The soup had loads of vegetables and lamb. The meat was tender and delicious. We ordered a “mini pizza” as well, which is definitely not “mini” to us. Feel free to choose 3 toppings from a wide variety of choice. The pizza is baked at the spot which would take some time to wait but definitely great to taste! A great place to rest and have some treats after your visit to the Waterfall.

Their hearty and delicious Icelandic Lamb Meat & Vegetable Soup is a must try! Was told that it was the Grayline tour company who has suggested for this soup to be part of their menu. It's been so well received that all Grayline customers enjoy a small discount (200 Kr off) when they order this soup - just mention you are traveling with Grayline.
