Very nice restaurant. We visited it around 17:00 and it wasn't too busy, plenty of empty seats. We tried the famous fish soup which was truly outstanding and also fish with potatoes and salad, which was good but not thrilling. For dessert we had skyrcake, rhubarb cake and a chocolate chip cookie. Skyrcake is a must try, tastes like a cheesecake but it is lighter and fluffier, it is amazing! 😍😍😍 + Very nice and attentive staff 😊

Excellent food at this charming restaurant. Owner and his wife were very friendly, telling us about where he grew up and is horses!
We had the fish soup and the lobster tails. Both dishes were yummy. Fish soup was flavorful in a tomato base with lots of ingredients.
Lobster tails were cooked to perfection in a simple garlic butter sauce, which I feel, is the best way to enjoy lobsters!

Lovely folks who run this off the beaten path restaurant. This is Icelandic slow food at its best. Super fresh fish, great service, and delicious desserts make this a place you can't miss if you're in northwestern Iceland!

Pretty expensive meal, but the soup and pan fried trout is very good. The staff is very friendly. The Skyrterta (Skyr cake) is a must have. Delicious food overall. Worth a visit.

Quiet, quaint, cute, friendly restaurant. Very clean, cute decor, and a castle outside. This restaurant is run by a couple, and the food is incredible. Highly recommend the seafood soup.

We loved this place! A little bit pricey, but everything in Iceland is. The soup was absolutely delicious.

Menu choice limited to four dishes but all were delicious. Excellent bouillabaisse style fish soup and lobster. Not cheap but worth visiting for quality seafood, perfectly cooked.

Limited menu and the food can take a while because of the small number of staff but the food and service were excellent.

Best food in Iceland! The hosts were so warm and welcoming. They grow their food in the greenhouse and have fresh caught fish.

Found this place by accident, had an amazing meal, I had the best fish meal, two of my friends the best fish soup and another friend the vegetable soup . We got lots of bread to eat with the soups. The most friendly staff we had on our 12 day tour of Iceland! For dessert we had freshly baked cinnamon rolls and chocolate cookies. If you visit this part of Iceland, the place to stop to have lunch! The lady was also so friendly to give some information on where to find seals and more of the peninsula.

Great restaurant on a beautiful road around the peninsula. The guy that runs it is super nice and offered us the seafood soup even though we arrived quite late. The soup was simply delicious!! With trout, shrimps and cod fish. We were also served a salad and bread on the side. The music was great :)

Best, I mean it the best, Seafood Soup in the world. I love seafood soup and have tried it all over. The woman who made this has perfected the recipe bringing spices from opposite ends of the globe together to augment the basic Icelandic soup. Worth going out of your way to try.

We visited today and were the only ones there when we walked in. We were greeted by a really nice Greek woman who is working there for the summer (wish we got her name - we enjoyed talking with her). My husband ordered the fish soup and I ordered the red lentil soup. Both were delicious and worth every penny. A very nice place all around and it was packed by the time we left!

The dinner was excellent! I ordered the fish soup and to start me out they brought me a simple, but elegant salad with bread. After finishing that I was brought the fish soup. The soup was truly hearty and filling. Definitely worth stopping and trying.
