One of Iceland’s few stone churches, with a star-adorned ceiling. Even though we couldn’t go inside during winter season, we appreciated the drive and the façade. If you’d like to go inside, visit between June-August from 10:00-17:00 :)

Nice beautiful old church in Iceland. The drive in was beautiful and scenic, and included seeing many free roaming sheep and horses. The artifact building was not open when we went, but looked neat. Church looked to be in nice shape for its age. The church has rich history for itself, and its location. Worth stopping at!

Wonderful old church with very unusual decorations and relics.

A beautiful church, a few km from the main road. There is a museum next to church. A powerfull view from the hill on the bay with a massive fog going down the evening. Pure and beauty :)
