We stayed 1 night in beginning august. You just pay the price for the night (3600ISK for 2 people) and then toilets and bathroom are free. Really nice view on the sea. Quiet.

Great location! Lots of room for parking, it has electricity available if you need it. They recycle old cooking gas cans, glass, plastic, etc. Right on the water and close enough to town to get everything you need. The space was full but it was really quiet and comfortable. Stairs to the beach and enjoyed a nice walk at evening time. With all that space a couple people still decided to get really close but it’s a wind break haha!

There is a eating area and cooking area that they have creatively made that blocks a lot of the wind.

Highly recommend!

Very nice place with great view to the ocean. Can be little windy. Facilities are good, clean toilets, two showers and very little, warm common area where you can cook something (no stove, just microwave and grill outside) and clean the dishes. Washing machine and dryer available for additional payment. Not many places with electricity inside, so if it’s crowded it can be a problem. The owner is very nice but it’s not easy to spot her during the reception’s opening hours. This place accepts camping card. Worth recommending, I hope we come back someday.

Great view of the water from the campsites. Bathrooms were clean. Close to gas stations. The woman who checked us in was friendly :) not much shelter from the wind, but nothing you can really do about that in Iceland lol

The campground is directly at the sea and you can smell the ocean and hear the waves - we loved it!
The facilities are nice ans provide for the mainly needed things: washing machine and dryer (extra pay), microwave and water boiler in an improvised kitchen, toilets (the cleanest throughout our trip) and showers (heated!). There is hot water for doing dishes. Two tables in a wind protected area and a grill invite for meals.

The campground is well organized and run by a really friendly guy from Serbia. He was very supportive with anything we needed. Thanks for the nice stay, our last night in Iceland.

This is a really nice campsite, right beside a little bay with walkway around it. The warden was really helpful, giving us a map of the area and pointing out local places of interest. It’s a small place but worth a visit. There are two showers and six loos plus a covered outdoor eating area and a room with kettles. Lots of hot water. The warden was always cleaning, emptying bins, making sure paper in loos and so on, so facilities were good to use.

View of ocean is fantastic, large campsite, clean toilets and showers with strong water pressure and ample hot water. Shower cubicles are a little small, but it's a minor detail. Definitely worth a stay if you're in the area!

Showers included in 15kr camp fee, coin operated laundry facilities

It was a very good place with an amazing ocean view, but unfortunately this campsite was closed (28 Oct)

This was one of the best campsites were stayed at! We enjoyed the clean bathrooms, hot free showers, and the sheltered picnic area. We also liked the small laundry room were other campers had left food and cooking supplies. We didn’t use laundry, but it was 400ISK for the washer and another 400ISK for the dryer, although the machines were pretty old. Overall, the location was beautiful and we would stay here again.

This place is AMAZING!!! The amenities are perfect. There’s a kettle, bbq, microwave, washer dryer, and more! The views are breathtaking. The beach is filled with sea glass. The host is welcoming and kind. I cannot say enough about this site!

Great campsite. We called at 10pm to make sure it was okay that we arrived around 11pm and they said that it was fine, even though the warden was going home we could pay in the morning. Lots of spaces left as we pulled in at 11. Bathrooms very clean, staff is very nice and welcoming, pretty view of water too.

This is a nice little Campground right on the bay. There's a walking trail with beach access, as well as bathrooms, showers, a kitchen area with water boiler & even a microwave! The on-site laundry is equipped with washer, dryer and drying rack. There is an additional sink area behind the shower room to wash up, brush teeth, etc. Plenty of space with power and non-power sites. The Manager, Mishko, was outstanding! Extremely helpful, pointing out areas of local interest, public beach area, shops, and things to do. He was always cleaning up the common areas, emptying garbage/recycle bins, and cleaning the bathrooms/showers. Definitely worth a visit, and only 45 mins back to Reykjavik through the tunnel, if you're looking for a Campground close, but not in the city.

Beautiful spot. We found our way here at 11 PM and the the woman at the counter was very kind and helpful. It’s cheap to stay and we had a tent, no camper, so she said we can setup anywhere we want. Tiny but clean bathrooms and showers.

Amazing place, there are many bathrooms, which a are spotless, a sink to wash our dishes, and showers which are again spotless.

We came in very late (around 00:30) so the reception wasn’t open, but a very nice lady came to our van at around 09:30 and we payed by card without leaving our van (took less than a minute).

Would highly recommend using this campsite

Excellent camping spot, you got showers, electricity, WiFi, water, washing machine (with dryer) for a few coins, BBQ even with a few spots to lunch at. Super clean place with hot water everywhere. Do be mindful to not over use it for everyone. It's 1.5k isk per person for a day, 900isk for electricity. The landlady passes every morning (8~) and in the evening (9:30), you can pay in cash or via card. A lot of places are available and you get a great view of the ocean.

This campsite has a beautiful ocean view, showers, bathrooms, cooking shelter and a coin operated washer and dryer. The campsite attendant was very friendly and does an excellent job keeping the facilities clean.

A good and spacious campground right at the water. The facilities are good, they have a washing machine/dryer, a kettle and some spaces for cooking outdoors.

If you’re lucky you can even spot the northern lights right from the campsite when it’s dark enough. We got lucky at around 1am at the end of August!

Nice campground right by the ocean. Clean, heated bathrooms. The best campground I stayed at while in Iceland.

This campsite was great, and we stayed for two nights. The attendant was great and helpful. The accomodations were among the better ones we had on our vacation!

The showers were great, nice and hot. There were some pretty big divots from a previous camper, that had we parked there we may have gotten stuck, even in our four wheeler.

We sheltered here in a really bad storm, and the burm made it much easier to bear. Being right off the ocean was a pretty cool location. It was also close to a great bakery, too! About 45 minutes from Reykjavik city center made this a nice location for both heading out of town, and into.
