So beautiful place. Very epic view of Vik's 3 cliffs!! So far (I was there 2 times) always windy. You can also see the most dangerous beach from here and wave to tourists there and of course Dyrhólaey, endless ocean and the village Vik. But be very carefull ! DO NOT GO TO CLOSE TO THE END OF THIS OBSERVATION DECK, its really steep.

Highly recommend if you want a good view of the Reynisdrangar Sea Stacks and the Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. We had visited the beach before so wanted a new vantage point and the views were absolutely spectacular. No one else around. The hike is tough enough so would only go if the weather was good. Well worth it if you're feeling adventurous. We started at Carina Guest House and walked from there.

Stunning place, unfortunately I'd have liked to be born in 50s so i could have assumed all kind of stuff in the 60s/70s and dreamt about freedom and have esplored this place virgin and incontaminated.
We saw a seal with its head booping out of the water.

Black sand beach is a remarkable place to see. Takes you back in time almost. So beautiful and untouched.

Incredible black sand beach with mystical rocks jutting out of the ocean that makes you feel like you're in a different world or a different time period.

Wow oh wow! The black sand beaches are so worth it! There is a reason it's all over Instagram and the internet at large. I highly recommend the South Shore Adventure by Reykjavik Excursions to go and see the black sand beaches and several spectacular waterfalls!

It is a beautiful place. Be careful and don’t go close to the water, it is dangerous. Mind your children and pets. There are spectacular view over there.

This black sand beach and rock formation is one of the coolest natural wonders in iceland. It is an almost other worldly type of landscape and a must see if in southern iceland.

One of must-see places: the long and beautiful black sand beach and rocks of volcanic origine.
