Great shop, lots of choice of high quality gear, the prices seem honest as well. I bought a pair of hiking shoes and they are perfect!

This is a bit of a surprising stop that I really enjoyed. It was a middle point between Skaftafell and Reykjavik for us to get lunch. We stopped here twice (once on the way out, and once on the way back).

There's two cafes ☕ separated by a giant store filled with souvenirs ranging from dried fish 🐟 and lava salt 🧂 to snow jackets and wool blankets. Walk to the back to get to the larger cafe with more food options. Our first time, the lamb soup wasn't available but on the way back it was! It was delicious and would highly recommend. 🐑

After lunch, we did some shopping. I bought myself a new jacket since my ski jacket 🎿 just wasn't doing well against the Icelandic winter weather. ❄ Then as we walked out to the bus, we saw this horseback riding tour! 🐎 We didn't get a chance to ride them, but I couldn't pass up not taking a photo.

Ah yes we also saw a rainbow too 🤣🌈

This is a wonderful place. Have Icelandic gift items and with small gifts they give a wollen bag free. When ever we went to VIK this store was our must stop

Great shop, plenty of parking also cafe and supermarket in the same area. There are cloth wear for all weather and also souvenir for those back home. All purchase over 6,000ISK can do the tax free of tourists. The outlet section is on the second floor.

Great stop at the black sand beach. Very good selection for lunch, and got a killer deal on some Icewear stuff!

I bought a fantastic winter coat with Icelandic wool here. Expensive, but also high quality. Its too bad our winter has a fever this year or I would be wearing it often.

My husband and I stopped by this store on our first day in Vik, eagerly looking for an authentic Icelandic sweater. There was a great selection of both men and women's clothing, particularly lots of headbands, hats and mittens. Plus, I was able to snag a rebated sweater!
They had a vast selection of other souvenir items, too.
Good prices and they prepared our VAT receipt for our departure.

I'm OCD and a germaphobe... first public bathroom, ever, I didn't feel the need to clean and sanitize before using, and I've been living around the world continuously for years. The people of this place deserve a statue 👏👏👏

Lovely array of warm clothes should you need to buy something in an emergency. And they have clean toilets, for any traveller, with an optional donation box. Thumbs up for that.

A real hidden treasure. We went to see the black sand beach and the day is and found the wool shop and restaurant. Fish and chips were delicious and the shop itself had some lovely items, reasonably priced.

Great place to get gifts, groceries, or a meal if you are passing through the area. They've got tons of stuff, so definitely worth a stop!

They had great stuff here for much less than any other place we saw in Iceland. The wool is genuine Icelandic wool, although sometimes spun in Norway or Sweden, but still Icelandic wool. I got an awesome wool sweater at a fraction of the price than I saw in Reykjavik. Worth the look especially if you plan on buying something to bring home.
