Restaurant Suður-Vík

Very good restaurant! The inside was cute and a little rustic, and the food was very good. My husband got the burger, and he thought it was amazing and very tasteful, and juicy. We got the butternut squash soup as an appetizer, and that was very good. And then I got the seafood soup for my main course, and it was delicious and rich, and filled with lots of seafood and veggies. Great place overall and definitely recommend it!

Delicious food in a cute converted old house set on a hill overlooking the town of Vik and the seashore. The lamb and the smoked arctic char were both fantastic!

Loved the food. Decent portions and the skyr cheesecake is a must! The staff are attentive and friendly. We did not book in advance but it wasn't a problem. We loved the interior and the vibe was inviting. Will be back in the future.

What a place the Lamb was out of this world, and the cheese platter asowme. You must visit this nice and cozy restaurant in Vik the views were great. My pics don't make justice. But I have to share them so you can get a better idea.

The food was served fast, great quality and tasted delicious. The restaurant was very busy with large group tables and the team still provided excellent service.

It was a great stop after a very long day. Burger, cod and pizza were all very tasty. Salads were just ok. We went at a busy time without a booking but the waitress saw how tired and hungry we were and she kindly accommodated us.

Chose to go here for our anniversary. Had the Lady in Charge and Classic #2 with a malt and ginger beer. Amazing food and the pizza will leave a lasting impression! Staff was amazing too. Whenever we come back to Iceland we're going to make this a necessary stop.

Fantastic food!! Wow. I ordered the lamb fillet and it was honestly the best lamb I’ve ever had. Very tender and the mashed potatoes and blueberry dressing were divine. Adorable atmosphere and friendly staff!

Nice ambience, great service, and really good comforting food!

We ordered the baked Brie, wild game platter, seafood soup, lamb and charred fish. Everything was phenomenal, except I do not recommend the wild game platter. The game platter was extremely small and not worth the money at all. Other than that, we were very happy with everything we ordered. Would recommend for anyone in Vik!

Super cozy restaurant with a lovely interior, very friendly waiters, and great food which comes to your table well prepared . I had the charr, and we also had the lamb, and both were on spot. Dedintly, on of my favorite restaurants on Island.

Lovely place. A large selection of dishes, tasty vegan options, very good coffee. Friendly staff who knows all the languages of the world :)

I eat every week in different restaurant and I never let any opinion on internet at the end… But Here .. It was just incredible, the Pizzas are amazing and the Apple Pie was the best I’ve ever eat ! THANK YOU, and if you go in Vik, go in this restaurant ! 🙏

Almost wouldn't know this place was there if not for a recommendation by hotel staff. We ate here at our first night in Vik and I thought about it for the next three weeks of our Iceland trip. The pizzas are great with perfectly crispy crust and good options. I've never had béarnaise sauce on a pizza but it was so good. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices are about as expected for Iceland and I wish we could have made it back a second time. This was our favorite place in Vik for food choices.

I had the lamb while my wife tried the local charr. We both loved our dishes! The blueberry sauce on the lamb meat was new to me but I definitely liked it.

Great Char. Nice portions and sauces. Lightning fast & courteous service in a warm woodframed house lit with Christmas lights.

Together with my son, during our trip around Iceland, we stopped here twice and we really enjoyed breakfast served in this restaurant. This also a very cozy place with a great service. Special thanks to Victoria 🙏🏻

Really nice meal. I strongly recommend the pizza. Even a 9 inches is a good size. The seafood soup was ok but not extraordinary.

We came during their annual Halloween party and it was fun with various people dressed up and decorations all over. The food was delicious too.
