Teigur Guesthouse

My husband and I were on vacation, this was our 9th night and we were just getting tired of sleeping in the van,so on our way from Glymur waterfall towards snæfellsnes peninsula we found this guests house. We didn't book, just tried our luck, arrived around 18.00 and very pleasant hosts told us there was a room for us. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room were sparkling clean, there was everything you might need while traveling. 10 out of 10!

Staying in Akranes on business for a couple of nights, the Teigur guesthouse was a perfect choice. A warm and friendly welcome, the guest house has a homely feel. Rooms, kitchen and bathroom were nice and clean, laundry facilities available too.

The accommodation is very nice and clean and it has a home feel to it, kitchen is fully stacked with all you need for cooking and there is ample parking space in the yard. The real win of this stay is the hosts which are such lovely and helpful people, feel free to ask for any info about the area or the life of Icelandic people in general and they will gladly fill you in. Thank you for having us.

Absolutely lovely place and lovely hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the house was clean, spacious and homely.

When we arrived we got some dinner tips and where to find what in town. There is even a breakfast basket in the fridge that you can eat and a fully equiped kitchen.

Our 11the place we booked in Iceland during our road trip and I can really recommend this guesthouse to book, five stars without a doubt!

Sigrún and his partner are the perfect hosts: attentive, hospitable, kind. The accommodation is perfect. Complete, clean, comfortable, pleasant. Recommendable 100%

Wonderful stay

It's our 15th day in Iceland. Teigur is the best guess house we've stay. The price is reasonable and you will find its a really guest "house". You will have everything like your home. It's only 2 rooms, so you won't share living room, kitchen, bathroom with too many people. And it's about 40 mins drive to Reykjavik. If you are lucky, you might see aurora in the lighthouse. It's really amazing.

A great small guesthouse! Owner is a very nice lady. Only two rooms. Sparklingly clean kitchen and bathroom with everything you need. Guest laundry with a dryer.

Absolut friendly hosts! Because of Corona we had the whole apartment for us alone.

Molto pulito, camere spaziose. Cucinino con tutto il necessario. I proprietari vivono sopra e sono gentilissimi. Ti aiutano e consigliano. L aereo era in ritardo e per il check in non abbiamo avuto nessun problema, nonostante siamo arrivati alle 21 invece che alle 18, appena siamo arrivati sono venuti a salutarci. Consigliato!

Man darf es eigentlich nicht verraten, aber hier findet man eine echte Perle unter den Guesthouses!!! Toll ausgestattete Räumlichkeiten, perfekte Küche, tolles Bad und super Wohnzimmer. Parkplätze vor der Tür, alles richtig schön sauber. Hier steckt Liebe drin.
Ich würde gerne noch einen extra Stern für die tollen und hilfsbereiten, freundlichen Gastgeber vergeben. Hier ist es so schön, da kommt man einfach wieder!!! Danke

The house is very comfortable, clean and the owners are very nice. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable and they even leave you some food so you can make your own breakfast. I am very happy to have this house during my trip.

La casa es estupenda y los dueños muy amables, hacen lo posible para que la estancia sea perfecta. Te dejan leche, mermelada, café y hasta pan para el desayuno. Todo está limpio y las camas son muy confortables. Un 10.

L'appartement est situé au rez de chaussée de la maison des hôtes (séparé et entrée indépendante). Les hôtes sont vraiment au top avec des explications sur mes lieux à visiter autour et dans la ville. Les chambres sont très propres ainsi que la salle de bain/toilettes. Il y a également un salon indépendant pour se reposer un peu. La cuisine est également très propre avec des ustensiles à disposition et même un petit panier dans le frigo pour le petit déjeuner. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Casa amplia y muy limpia, cocina muy completa (incluso dejaron algo de comida para el desayuno). Habitaciones amplias y camas muy cómodas. Anfitriones muy amables. De nuestro viaje de 12 dias por Islandia ha sido la mejor Guesthouse en la que hemos estado, la recomendaría sin duda!

In een woord geweldig! Vriendelijker kan niet. Koelkast rijkelijk gevuld en mooi ontbijtmandje. Veel uitleg over de omgeving. Voor de twee kamers is er een gedeelde badkamer en keuken maar deze zijn ruim genoeg voor eventueel twee stellen. Daarnaast ook nog een gezellig woongedeelte. De eigenaren is geen moeite te veel.

オーナーがとても親切で、正直とても驚きました。まるで両親のようにあたたかで、とても清潔で丁寧に快適に整えられています。アイスランドで沢山のゲストハウスに泊まりましたが、どんな素晴らしい自然や体験よりもここに帰ってきたいと思わせる、そんな優しい場所でした。

Bellissima gestita da persone fantastiche e disponibili, nel frigorifero abbiamo trovato anche la colazione, non manca nulla. Ha solo due camere.
