The food is amazing and service is excellent too! They have kids menu and the pizza is awesome. We had the tiger prawns tapas which is very delicious and fresh! The arctic char is nice too! Reasonably priced! A hidden gem for sure!

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Beautifully decorated, and the food was amazing! They even have vegan options! Server was great and our food came out fast! We had the Harissa Chicken, and our party had the vegan lasagna.

This place is a hidden gem with absolutely amazing food. The Argentinian Entraña steak they serve with patatas bravas is my favorite. You should also try the Trash Can Nachos, it's delicious and its presentation is awesome! I highly recommend this place if you want quality food in a cosy atmosphere.

Just fantastic the slow cooked lamb in duck fat was delicious and their kid menu is great, this is the first place I have ever seen rice pudding offered

Personally I really enjoy the restaurant's Mediterranean inspired dishes. The wine selection has quite a few good choices that also go well with many of the dishes on their menu.

The service is outstanding ... truly helpful and friendly! 👍😊👍😊👍

A beautiful restaurant with a view of surrounding mountains. Our server was Icelandic and very friendly; disnt catch her name but she was a tiny blond. My husband had the Best Deal of the Day ,Thursday, which was roast leg of lamb. It was perfect! They said it was slow roasted for 9 hours or so. The accompanying gravy, or au jus, was just the most flavorful ever. I had the steak open-faced sandwich which was so good. Lots of flavors on the plate, including fresh tomatoes and micro greens which were very nutty. The French Fries were fried to a crispy texture, but still creamy inside. Very good and great value! The daily special was only 3200 for a main course, wine and dessert. Excellent value for Reykjavik. We will return!

We had the Louisiana blackened cod and the chicken skewers. Both fantastic and easily the best meal we had in Iceland! The server also kindly got us an English menu and made great suggestions. Sad this was our last night in Iceland - would 100% come back next time we’re here!

Fish of the day was absolutely delicious. Nicely decorated and cozy place packing a nice atmosphere with a very nice view over Hengill and Bláfjöll. Totally a hidden gem.

Only came in for drinks and a dessert. Ordered the apple delight, a german pancake with baked apples and dulce de leche ice cream. Was absolutely delicious. Didn't have chance to try out any other dishes, but the main courses seemed expensive, even for Iceland standards.

A hidden gem! Amazing food for affordable price. Highly recommended! We had the “27 veisla” and shared it between the 7 of us, we had (way) more than enough of delicious food. Great view over lake Elliðavatn!

I enjoyed every aspect of Mathùs 27. Excellent cod dinner with entries and desert which where amazing. Warm and attentive staff, and the beautiful vìew and interior of the restaurant are certainly to enjoy. Thank you ❤
