Shandiz Restaurant

If you're Iranian, you likely know the name Shandiz well, and if you're a foreigner visiting Tehran, missing out on this restaurant would be a mistake. I highly recommend two standout dishes: 1) Shishlik (lamb chops) and 2) Mahiche (Muscle). For an extra treat, ask for some extra muscle broth with caramelized onions to drizzle over your rice and savor with the Mahiche. In my opinion, this is the epitome of quality dining in Tehran. I make it a point to visit at least 2 to 3 times every trip to Iran.

Absolutely the best shishlik(grilled lamb chops) in Tehran. The place is like a palace and the food is fabulous.
I ordered Joje, Shishlik, Lamb neck and kobide and they were all juicy and tender.
You will also get fresh bread and tahchin together with your food.

I ordered on Thursday night and I was very impressed by their food and service. The food quality was great, the portion was enough and also reasonable price. The delivery took about an hour , which is understandable given the busy time, but the food temperature was still okay. The reception was polite and very helpful when i called to confirm my order. I would defiantly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Persian cuisine.

The meals are perfect, and the atmosphere is suitable for work meetings and family gatherings.

Best of the best kabobs in Tehran. The shishliks are one of a kind! The portion is huge and is good for 2 people. You will love it as we all did. It is a must go place and whenever we visit Iran we go there!

Shandiz is well known for their shishlick , but I always prefer to have mahiche which I believe that is the best food and I don’t know any mahicheh better than shandiz all over Tehran.
You could have shishlicks even better than shandiz in other places but innthe case oc mahicheh no.

It is one of the five restaurants in Tehran on the Tripadvisor's list of best restaurants in Tehran! I found the food tasty and mouthwatering! The servers were very helpful and quick! The atmosphere was nice and a little noisy, though! The prices were just what i expected!

The best kebab in Tehran . Shishlik and mahiche is great . The lamb they serve is fresh with nice cooking recipes . I like all abouth the dishes

It’s luxury restaurant actually it’s an amazing Restaurant clean, well serviced and delicious food. Prices was not expensive

I love shandiz,high quality food ,portions are big ,you need to go early as they getting very busy.restaurant have their own car park. staff are very polite, friendly and efficient, big venue for big size party ,I tried shishlik which was amazing ,also shoulder was really nice ,the olives are great ,definitely the place to go and highly recommended

One of my favourite restaurants in Tehran, all foods are surprisingly delicious , do not forget to try their shishlik! It is out of this world...

The food is really amazing. The best place for having Shishlik and Mahiche in whole Tehran. The bad point is u sit at other’s people tables and it is too crowded. But all five stars dedicated to the great Kebab 😅

The food was amazing. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. The staff were all nice. It WAS a hassle to get there with the traffic surrounding it but once there everything went well. expect the food prices to be double or triple the normal restaurants though. But at the end of the day the treatment was worth the price!

Fantastic experience, highly recommend trying the Gaardan and Shaashlik, very busy so recommend booking or getting in early.
