Nice place for dining, they have renovated the place, it is under new management and the menu has changed, but it is still a good restaurant.

I visited Farid Restaurant with my family on a Friday night and we had a pleasant experience. The restaurant has a nostalgic and cozy atmosphere, with old-fashioned furniture and decorations. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was fast and efficient.

We ordered a variety of dishes, including barley soup, chicken schnitzel, beef stroganoff, fried salmon, and chelo kabab barg. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. The food was well-cooked and flavorful, especially the beef stroganoff, which had a rich and creamy sauce. The chelo kabab barg was also tender and juicy, and the rice was fluffy and aromatic. The only dish that disappointed us was the chicken schnitzel, which was dry and bland.

For dessert, we tried the polombir ice cream, which was delicious and refreshing. It had a smooth texture and a subtle vanilla flavor. We also enjoyed the complimentary tea and cookies that were served at the end of our meal.

Overall, we had a great time at Farid Restaurant and we would recommend it to anyone who likes traditional Iranian cuisine with a touch of French influence. It is also a good place to relive the memories of the popular TV series Shahrzad, as the restaurant was featured in several episodes. Farid Restaurant is one of the oldest French restaurants in Tehran, and it has maintained its charm and quality over the decades..

Delicious Iranian Take on European food with all the Persian classics as well.

This tired restaurant from the old days has a great selection of European dishes approached from an Iranian preparation. Their barley soup and their steak sauces are great. My family’s favourites are mushroom steak, pepper steak, and chateaubriand.

The venue is tired and could do with some clean up but it is a good representation of the growth and style of 1950s Tehran.

Farid resturant is one of lovely and solitude restaurant with polite staff.

در حدود ۳۰ سال مشتری این رستوران هستم و اکثر رستورانهای تهران را تجربه کرده ام فکر نمیکنم رستورانی مثل رستوران فریداز مواد اولیه درجه یک استفاده کنند
عاشق اسکالپ با قارچ و بیف استرگانفش هستم

غذاهاشون در کل کیفیت خوبی داره و همچنین دسراشون، استیک و اسکالپ رو دوست داشتم

خيلي رستوران خوب و با كيفت هست مرسي ازمديران
