" Love your local Theater"
Astara was established in 1963 with only 1 auditorium and a very small concession stand. About 5 years ago they did a huge rénovation which they added two small auditorium on the second floor- people who grew up around this area would remember the second floor was actually part of the family seating of the only one auditorium they had. Very Cool!! Right??? Family seating area!!! Astara Cinema is part of Tajreesh History and we should all support it. Public should get encourage to support their Local Theaters especially after COVID-19.
They have small concession stand that offers popcorn and sodas and other snacks.
The seat are comfy and it's made of fabric ( you don't stick to it 👍). It's definitely family friendly. People who work there are the nicest I have seen. No parking!!! See you there soon!!!

This is niw reborn under new management as one of the most innovative cinemas of Tehran.

سینما آستارا از سینماهای قدیمی تهران است. این سینما در سال ۱۳۴۲ تأسیس شده‌است. سینما آستارا در میدان تجریش، خیابان شهرداری قرار دارد. پروانه بهره‌برداری از این سینما در سال ۱۳۹۶ در اختیار سید جمال ساداتیان قرار گرفت و با واگذاری این مجوز عملیات بازسازی سینما آستارا شروع و طی ۱۵ ماه ادامه داشت. سرانجام عملیات بازسازی سینما آستارا در آذرماه ۱۳۹۷ به پایان رسید. در طرح جدید این مجموعه، مکان‌هایی برای رستوران و کافه پیش‌بینی شده‌است. ورودی سینما به سبک لاله‌زار قدیم طراحی شده و رستوران هم حال و هوایی قدیمی دارد.

فضای داخلی بسیار زیباست و کارکنان خوش اخلاق هستند و سالن سینما بسیار عالی و تمیز با صندلی های راحت و البته بلندگوهایی که بسیار خوب صدا رو به سرتاسر سالن میرسانند
