We had a great adventure in Iran with Iran Exploration Tour Operator. Everything was organized very professional starting from the offer for "tailored" ski tour including cultural visit. The team did really perfect job! We had very friendly and professional guides for both ski and cultural part of our visit. Ski touring in Dizin and skiing in Darbandsar resort were great, snow conditions were good enough in the beginning of March, and the mountain views were absolutely amazing! We had a cultural program in Teheran and Isfahan, which was quite interesting. We spent too much time at Bazaar (market) in Isfahan, but it was rather our initiative. Next time I would prefer to start with the sightseeing and go to the Bazaar if there is time for that. The road from Teheran to Isfahan is not easy but we were pleased to visit this historical city. I would recommend this company if you plan visiting Iran!

I highly reccomend this company for both climbing and cultural experience. We made a combined mountain and cultural tour. Both during the preparation period as well as on the whole tour we had a very nice, professional and reliable staff.
The tour was absolutely adapted to our wishes and needs.
Our mountain guide, Ashkan, led us to the top of the Damavand, he did a fantastic job, was very attentive during the hiking and the acclimatization and cooked us delicious meals during these days.He also had a plan B in case of bad weather.
Mansur, the host in Damavand hotel was also very nice, welcoming and cooked us very delicious meals.
The second part of the tour, the cultural one continued beeing so nice as the first one.
Our well informed and nice guide,Khasi, showed us many treasures of Iranian culture and cities and told us much about Iranian history.
Our driver, Mr. Khamberi always drove very attentively and reliably. And not only on the roads, but he also accompanied us to the city walks.
Mahsa, at the agency was also very nice and always ready to help and answered all our questions.

I spent 12 fantastic days in Iran on a tailor made tour with IranExploration. Surprisingly nice museums in Tehran, wonderful rock forms in Alamut valley, flower "carpet" of the Lar valley, colorfoul bazaars, hiking around 2500-4000m and Damavand peak at 5610m.
Mahsa in the office was so flexible in organization, so I had the tour I really wanted. My guide Ashkan did a fantastic job from greeting at the airport till saying goodbye. He wanted to show me everything, he knew all local shops and restaurants worth a visit, had a plan B for bad weather and thorough and attentive during hiking and acclimatization. Mansur, the host in the Rineh hostel cooked nice local meals.
So everything was perfect, all problems solved with care and have fantastic memories of Iran and Iranian people.
