I've participated in several trips with adventure Iran. I believe that it is an excellent company. All guys specially Mick are helpful and responsible .Tracking in desert was one of the greatest tour. The trip stated from a village and we passed through the desert and it ended after 120 km in 4 days. Blue sky, desert sand, unspoiled desert scenery all were marvelas.The highlight of the trip was eating delicious traditional food after a long walk through the desert. I recommend this trip to everyone

I went for a fantastic 2-day mountain bike tour north of Tehran, starting from Lavasan (map below). My guide was great and knew the area by heart. Great mountain biking trails, scenery and at the end of the day, great food! I will be going back for a longer tour very soon.

I traveled to Iran for just under a month (May-June 22) and had great experience with Mike and the rest of the team.

My trip covered Golistan, Kurdistan and some remote Bakhtiari areas.

Farnaz and Mike were very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and went above and beyond to accommodate / create a unique itinerary based around the photography that I wanted to do.

We traveled overland the entire time (trains, buses, private car and trekking) which was an amazing experience. Mike joined me for the Golistan and Bakhtiari legs of the trip, which were unbelievable. He's a very well-traveled, absolutely lovely guy and added so much enjoyment my time in the country.

Majid guided the Kurdistan section of the trip and is also a great guy - for anyone with a particular interest in history and culture of these areas, I couldn't recommend him more.

Overall one of the best trips I've ever done and couldn't ask for more from a tour company. Finding people that are patient and open to trying taking the time to create a unique tour made a huge difference for me personally. Outside of days in the itinerary, Mike was insanely hospitable, having me over to his own place outside of Tehran and arranging for me to meet up with his friends when he was busy himself.

Looking forward to returning to Iran again later in the year to visit Balochistan, where I'll be booking these guys again :)

We had awesome mountain bike adventure with Adventure Iran. Our main objective was to climb mt. Damavand with bikes. Adventure Iran made perfect itinerary for our adventure. We made acclimatization tour in Lar national park and after that we climbed mt. Damavand. The support from our guides was perfect, they provided good support to reach the summit of mt. Damavand with mtb. Adventure Iran crew and guides was very professional so I would recommend them to every adventurer.

An amazing 4D3N desert trekking experience with Mike (aka Mehrdad) for this adventure in Iran. Mike is very knowledgeable, kind, responsive, funny and a truly genial host! With the vintage kettle, he will boil water to make hot coffee for you anytime anywhere! Trekking company is fully prepared with all items necessary, with snacks and ample food, and guide will bring you to great places for you to view canyons and nature. Being with this company was THE highlight of my trip in Iran. Slept in a tent facing the full moon at night- EXQUISITE. Thanks Mike for the amazing adventure that you brought us on! I travelled solo in March 2016. Mike is always reliable and accessible even prior to the trip.

In 2014 August I started a trip which I ever could mentioned that as my one of the most soul-changing happenings in my life. We headed to desert, the place of purity and beauty and I couldn’t imagine that place will make one of my best memories ever.

Adventure Iran was the reason that I enjoyed that trip more than my expectation. I chose Sven Hedin trek and that was amazing.

We had the chance to book 2 tours with adventure Iran and we really like it.

1. A hike in the mountains in the north of Tehran: the landscape is really impressive. You are surrnounded by 4000 to 5000m high peaks, with snow at the top. And no one around you during the hike... it’s totally different from a hike in Europe.
With 2 very friendly guides to help us.

2. A two days tour in the desert of Luht near Kerman (if you go to Iran, this is a must do). The guides were exceptional and what can I say about the landscapes we saw... a once in a lifetime experience to camp in the desert without anyone around us... (the sound of desert... something so special).
And we finished the trip by a visit of a 4,000 years old village! Incredible...

We did a breathtakingly beautiful hike in Lar Nationalpark with Adventure Iran. Organization was excellent, the team incl. guides, cooks, office staff were fantastic and extremely kind, the food we had while camping close to a lake with view over Mt. Damavand belonged to the best we ever had while camping. There is nothing I would like to have done differently and we will definitely come back.

We travelled to Iran in October 2018 with Adventure Iran visiting Tehran, Kashan, Isfahan, Yazd and Shiraz. Our point of contact there was Fatemeh Fereidooni. She was referred to us by a colleague of mine.
At first we were apprehensive of visiting Iran as we couldn’t book online nor transfer money but Fatemeh was very supportive. She made the entire process very smooth. We were also very late in making our bookings yet she was very prompt and found us the best hotels. We were travelling with my aged parents, so she ensured that all our rooms were easily accessible. Even before we reached, she was very supportive and prompt to reply to all our small and big queries on WhatsApp.
When we reached, she came to receive us at the airport and ensured we had a fantastic time in Tehran. Post that she ensured that each and every day we had support whenever we needed anything – including she also help me get appointments for a salon to get my nails done in Shiraz. We chose to have separate guides in each city and she made sure we had the most knowledgeable and friendly guides.
She arranged one of the best and friendliest driver – Ali – for us for the entire trip. We had a very comfortable, new and clean van at our disposable.
I doubt if there’s a better organizer and tour guide than Fatemeh in Iran. I highly recommend her and her company.

Trekking and traveling through the cities with Adventure Iran was outstanding! The were so attentive and kind, guide was perfect and nature and architecture amazingly beautiful! I can highly recommend traveling with them. Everything was perfectly organized!

That was great experience with Adventure Iran in central desert of Iran (Dasht-e Kavir), with Danish family. We had 4 days trekking inside of the desert in remote area and we had three nights camping. We start on 17 October and it finished on 20 October 2016. We made fire in the camp and we had unforgettable journey. The silence of the desert and the landscape was awesome. In my experience I highly recommend to spend a few days in the desert. the name of the tour was Alfons Gabriel trek which started from Isfahan and finished in Yazd.
The best time and climate is between late September to early December in fall. Also from March to May the climate is pleasant in the desert.

A wonderful experience in the Central Desert of Iran. The gude Alireza was a real pro just like the team in the agency. The agency also helped me with bus, train and accomodation bookings before and after the trek. I shall be returning to this great country where the people are very friendly. There's so much to see

5 day trek perfectly organized through the Dasht-e Kavir around Faharazad,. We were lucky to have an excellent guide named Ali Reza who was very professional, friendly, ready to help and with a good sense of humor.

Wir haben die Räder bei adventureiran ausgeliehen und sind damit eine Woche über die Berge geradelt. Die Kommunikation war via E-Mail und WhatsApp. Es hat alles super funktioniert alle Vereinbarungen wurden eingehalten und die Räder wieder am Zielort abgeholt.
