I had such a wholesome and seamless experience
in Iran through Iransafar. From helping to accomodate my visa application to
setting up my short stay itinierary where all the
must see visits such as the Unesco sites are compressed so that ‘nothing’ is missed. Everything that I’ve experienced really left a memorable and unforgettable moments especially towards the heartwarming locals there who accepted me with open arms and smiles. Will definitely miss and come back for Iran one day.

I contacted Iran Safar for tour and Kian answer very fast, nice and clear information. The tailor tour create based on what you really need and price is reasonable. My partner and I travelled to Iran in November 2023 for 12 days. We booked our trip through Iransafar, who were excellent throughout.

Mr Farhad Vali was our primary liaison in the head office, who compiled a personalised and affordable itinerary based on our desires. We spoke to many local and intentional tour operators. Iransafar differentiated themselves through their rapid speed of response, clear English language communication, honest counsel about itinerary elements that are seasonal (what is good and not good based on time of year) and willingness to customise (rather than just selling us a "cookie cutter" trip on the "classic route").

On the tour, we were served by two exceptional guides; Mr Hamid Hasanpour (Tabriz and Kandovan) and Mr Mehdi Hooshyari.(Tehran, Kashan, Maranjab, Abyaneh, Esfahan, Yazd, Persepolis and Shiraz). Both guides had exceptional communication skills and deep bodies of knowledge on Iran today and in the past. They provided rich context that deepened our understanding and enjoyment of all we saw. They were also adaptable, altering the itinerary to respond to our needs on the fly with pleasure. At no point did we ever feel unsafe, which says much about Iran's undeserved reputation but also the calbre of the guides, who helped us interact with locals throughout. The guides were very attentive, picking up on small cues to enhance our trip. For example, Mehdi used his network to secure us access to a carpet weaving collective to witness the manufacturing process and separately organised an opportunity for me to try sheep's head for breakfast, both after these were mentioned casually by us in passing. Both guides were authentic, displaying their own enthusiastic personalities and willing to discuss any topic. They handled the logistics superbly, ensuring we invested time in the most important sights and also making sure we saw all we'd planned (even if it meant they missed a meal or had an abbreviated nights sleep). They made Iran, which can seem intimidating with international financial sanctions and restricted internet, easy!

As for Iran itself, the country is replete with stunning landscapes, historical significance, unique and surprising culture, beautiful landmarks and more, however it is the warmth of the people that stands out. There are so many examples of this but this is perhaps best captured in a single anecdote. We were enjoying tea and cake one night in Esfahan, and upon going to pay it became apparent that another patron, who had left unannounced and without seeking any thanks, had paid the bill for the three of us, a gesture of his hospitality and appreciation we were visiting Iran. Oh so humbling! You owe it to yourself to visit this spectacular country and, when you visit, you should do so with Iransafar.

My partner Dorothy, daughter Livia and I throughly enjoyed our 16 day odyssey travelling through Iran. Iransafar tours tailored our itinerary to our needs and provided a professional, personable and knowledgeable tour guide who drove us everywhere. We covered a total of ~3500 km and saw fantastic sights from ancient ruins, spectacular mosques, beautiful gardens, frenzied bazaars and natural wonders. We met many local Iranians who without exception were extraordinarily friendly, going out of their way to help. Above all from our own experience, Iran is a safe country for any westerner to visit.
We would highly recommend Iransafar Tours to anyone interested or looking to broaden their travel experience by visiting what is a beautiful and unique country.

Iran Safar organized a 12 day private tour for us in June 2022. They were kind enough to customize their Blue Domes tour for our requirement, changing the hotels, adding sights and making it a private tour.

From day one when I contacted Mr Majid, he was both patient and efficient. He understood our requests and requirements and designed an itinerary that proved to be perfect. Over the next few months, he was kind enough to answer all sorts of queries and handle all concerns regarding the trip. It was obvious that he has a deep knowledge of both Iran's highlights as well as the requirements of international visitors.

From our arrival at the airports onwards, we did not have to worry about a single thing because everything was pre-booked by Iran Safar. Ms Sahar Valaei, our tour manager, was both efficient and enthusiastic, and we really benefited from her practical experience of guiding tours. She made every day an enjoyable one full of fantastic discoveries. There was not a single hiccup, mishap or any other problem during the trip - thanks to meticulous planning and implementation by the team. We had a great combination of organized as well as free time, so that we could feel like we were visitors and locals simultaneously.

All the sites we visited and our varied experiences have afforded us many unforgettable and precious memories which will stay with us forever.
