City Park

This is the very first Park of Iran that was built in the modern style in the Reza Shah era. Many parks are built in the same style in the other cities of the country. these kind of parks are known as Bagh-e-Melli.

This park was established as the first Tehran park in 1339 in the heart of Tehran. Over the years, many recreational and tourist facilities have been added to this park, and thus remains one of the most visited and most memorable parks in the city of Tehran. The aquarium located on the southeast side of the city park was first built as a refuge in the war between Iran and Iraq. After the war, the sanctuary changed to an aquarium for displaying freshwater fish. Also, fish and aquarium supplies are sold at this place. The artificial lake of Park City is located on the northeast side. You can ride in the lake.

In my view it's the best park in Tehran ,I can say in any seasons.

When visiting the forensic doctor, I noticed such a beautiful park, it was really wonderful, you can see different species of animals in this place.

A big , clean, beauty and nice park at center of capital. There are several WC , amusement park and restaurant there. Suitable for children and family.

I like there , because of 80 years old trees and old locations that shows Iranian history on city culture.

It's a great place with old trees and good people. In this park you can walking and relaxing. Some people play chess and backgammon. Some people have dates with their partners

Its a nice park to see diffrent kinds of plants like magnolia, froxinus, murus, platanus orentalis and etc and also you can bird watch. There is a birdwatching station which you can watching birds with a camera with compani of an expert

I enjoyed visiting.

I LOVED THIS PARK! It is extremely beautiful and feels like a vast forest inside the city. You can sit and chill on the grasses. Moreover, you can picnic and have breakfast here. This park is one of the most tranquil places I have ever been.

I was in iran a couple of years ago on site seeing. I spent a couple of hours there the park is a great place to be there people from all walks of life came there some people have their paper chess board and star playing when they finish the wraps the chess paper and walk away there is a library inside the park I visited it too

It's a nice place, and just a few minutes from the Grand Bazaar of Tehran. It's got a little of everything; some restaurants, a small lake, some playground equipment, and a small zoo area, as well.

In the centre of very busy city and near to heavy commercial markets; a very beutiful park.. In the park a small lake with fountains. It has also a zoo (birds only) with different types of birds. The park is very beutiful and covered large area including a libruary. Easily accessable from every side. Extremely very nice.....for kids and family..

A big park located in the old area of Tehran, near Imam Khomeini metro station. You can go there after visitting the Golestan palace and the historical area of Tehran's bazaar and spend some time to rest and see many different beautiful birds that they have in the park.

It's a fun park filled with various sculptures. It's got a small zoo filled with exotic birds, animals. Also, it's got a pond which is transformed into a place for ice skating in winters.
