One of the original places in Tehran for iranian Kebab. You will enjoy soft and tasty meat along with iranian rice. You should try Special Barg, fillet Kebab, Fesenjon, Mirza ghasemi, olives, and Mast Khiar.
This place is recommended on Friday for lunch time.
If you are willing to have lunch about 3 pm, you should consider you cannot reserve and should go directly there and make a waiting list.

The best Persian style kabab ( kebab) experience ever specially Kabab Barg. it is so juicy perfectly cooked and flavoursome. The most authentic chelo kabab experience with excellent service and quality. The rice, koobideh and all the side dishes were beautifully cooked and prepared. The staff are very well trained and professional yet friendly and kind. Lovely decor and atmosphere. It is a must try place for Persian food lovers.

Ordered Fesenjoon and chicken kebab, both very delicious. Liked the presentation of the dishes. Sit near the window for a view of the park. A good place to have food and conversation!

They were very patient with our kids who were doing things that many kids do.

Best ever persian Kabab and iranian food you can have.
If you get to go there ask for “Soorati” which is “medium cooked Barg Kabab” ✨ it’s the best of the best.

I have to say this persian restaurant is perfect.the atmosphere is fancy and sits are really comfortable then i have to say they have a good menu which gives you a wide choice and the food is great and also it's expensive in comparison to other restaurants it really worths.this restaurant is near the Safavi shopping center so you can park your car there easily.

The best 'barg' fillet kabab ever, ask for it to be 'pink' so it's medium cooked and juicy. Mango pickle is also special. I don't go anywhere else for chelo kabab (grill and rice)... Service is top notch and they do have a wide menu which now includes starters or vegan dishes such as hummus and mirzaghasemi (from the North of Iran).

Nice restaurant in north of Tehran. I advice to everybody to go there and enjoy the food. This restaurant is in front of park and shopping center and other shops. After 16:00 is very heavy traffic and the street is one way to drive by car.

I can not remember the last time I had not ordered the Fesenjan stew at Yas. It is by far the best hidden treasure on their menu. To make that claim is no small feat since almost all of their other traditional Iranian dishes are heads and shoulders above anything else you can find in other restaurants. That combined with their fantastic location, with vistas over looking the Mellat Park, makes Yas one of the top five restaurants in the city.
Parking can be tricky. Try the Safaviyeh Mall parking next door. My favorite is to take the BRT which drops you off a few steps before the restaurant.

We ordered a beef stroganoff, a steak, and a kabob torsh. They were all very good. However, we had asked for our steak and kabob to be cooked medium well but the kabob was still raw at the middle which some of my friends didn't like but they replaced it for us. Also, the staff were very nice since we asked them to bring us a cake for my friend's birthday, and they went out of their way and bought a cake from a bakery for us.

For sure one of the best Iranian food restaurants specially in Kebab (and to be more specific, you can taste the best Kebab Barg here). Despite of many tables but you don't feel crowded here as the distances is good and in the second floor you can enjoy the beautiful view of Mellat Park. There are two parking lots nearby, Safaviyeh shopping center parking and another one in the next alley but if you miss these two you will have so much trouble in finding parking place. So nice and polite staff and you can enjoy Turk coffee and tea with your delicious dessert.

The chef of this restaurant is capable of cooking the most delicious foods ever! Not only you can find the best Iranian dishes here (say the most delicious Kabab-Barg, Baghala-Polo Mahiche, Zereshk-Polo, Juje Kabab), but also many other foreign dishes (such as beef straganoff, beef steak, etc) are the most delicious meals you have ever had. The entire crew of this restaurant try their best to host the customers in the most hospitable way. The restaurant is counted as a prestigious restaurant with a very friendly ambience. The price can be regarded as "almost high" and not "extremely high", but it might be one of a kind to be worth the money you spend. They also have WIFI interenet accessible inside the restaurant. Overall, Yas is the best restaurant in Tehran to spend money on.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Tehran for the past 40 or so years. Much more than just another top end Chelo Kababi, Yas is as famous for its food as it is for the crowd it attracts – a reference point for both Tehranis of yesteryear and the revolution’s nouveau riche to congregate.

Although the menu offers non-Iranian fare, for lunch I would stick to their amazing Kababs and other Iranian dishes such as Baghali Polo with Lamb Shank. Service is of a very high standard for Tehran – friendly and efficient if a little snooty at times. The restaurant gets quite busy for lunch every day of the week except Friday when it’s absolute pandemonium and best left to the desperate and patient.

Perhaps it’s my imagination but I feel the restaurant takes on a more elegant ambiance in the evenings which is when the non-Iranian menu starts making sense – a succulent steak, a sizzling stir-fry, a little something different from the kabab onslaught one experiences as a visitor to Tehran. No matter what you order, one thing I will assure you – it’ll all be very good.

magnificent barg kabab and order it juicy. wonderful halim badenjan (eggplant stew) served in a bread bowl. a bit pricey but wonderful ambiance and very friendly staff.
