Vakil-O-Tojjar Restauran

A beautifully preserved example of early 1900's Persian residential architecture modified to accommodate a luxurious restaurant in the center of old Tehran market district of Molavi directly on Khayam Square. The house now called Vakil-O-Tojjar's Restaurant with its rich history of eponymous prominent resident and his desendants, offers an impressive menu of quintessential Persian cuisine in par with the best home made Persian food often and only experienced in Iranian homes. We started with charcoal roasted eggplant Borani (a yogurt starter) and garlic yougurt followed with Baghali Polo (broad beans, herbs and rice) with tender braised lamb kneck and chicken kebab, for drinks pasture made Doogh (yogurt drink with aromatic herbs) and finished with baklava and Damnoosh, an aromatic herbs and flower infused hot drink. The experience was both delicious to the tastes and the eyes. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the romanticism of elegant Persian dining of the 19th and early 20th century in a very exciting setting. Undoubtedly you will be absorbed by the very interesting, creative, extensive menu.

I had abgusht, coffee and lemonade. Everything was very tasty. Original way of serving abgusht, taste was perfect. The restaurant itself had an amazing interior design. It is worth to eat there even just to get a feeling of the interior.

من تجربه خوبی در این رستوران داشتم. از کیفیت غذا بسیار راضی بودیم. سالاد شیرازیش طعم قدیمها رو میده .

Despite the crowd, the orders were prepared quickly. The 'Lubia polo' (Rice and beans) I had was absolutely delicious.

عاشق این فضاهای تاریخی ام ، لباس پیشخدمت ها که به شکل لباسای دوره قاجاری بود هم خیلی جالب بود 👌☺

دکور خیلی قشنگ و غذاش هم خوشمزه بود. زیتون خیلی خوب بود.
من ده و ده دقیقه شب رفتم که نمیخواستن راه بدن که با مذاکره راضی شدن. ساعت یازده تعطیل میشه
