I've come to tehran around ten times last six years and l didn't know this marvelous dizi restaurant in district number six, my favourite one.
Our apartment this year was closed to dizi Sara, an old special dizi restaurant, so we had to visit it.
The menu is simple: just dizi (my wife's one appart, is the best dizi I've eaten). Sabzi was fresh, dough was natural, piaz e torsh was amazing, sangak was hot, even bamie was delicious.
We will come back soon.

you only have one option but it's the best. the best dizi i ever tasted was here, the sangak bread was fresh and the lite torshi was very very delicious. you can ask them to mash your dizi for you. after the lunch you can drink acup of tea with bamie sweet to complete the banquet.

It's an old famous restaurant in the centeral part of Tehran which the locals call it as iranshahr Dizi saraa.
There is a lot of beautiful old paintings on the wall.
They will mash the potatoes and the ingredients for you if you ask them.
The quality of Dizi is incomparable.
It's not possible to make a reservation before, you have to go there the day you want to eat Dizi.
On Thursdays and Fridays it's a little bit crowded.

The best Dizi Sara in Tehran.The menu is simple but originl, just traditional dizi with required sides including pickles, Dough, herbs, ... .
The design of restaurant is also trafitional and decorated with old style persian teahose paitings.
The food and service quality is at its highest, the only point ia you need to wait up to 1 hour in weekends due to rush of the customers. But since the area is full with coffeeshops it is recommended to sepnt your time in one of the near coffeeshops.

Lovely restaurant with best Dizi in Iran. This traditional Iranian meal in this place is more than food, this is work of art. Restaurant is very nice and looks great. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I was absolutely satisfied. Full and professional service, endless supply of sangag, sabzi, ... everything served automatically when you ordered a dizi which was simply fantastic and best from lots I have tried so far. In the end, tea and sweets. Perfect. Must visit restaurant when you would like to try traditional Iranian food.

The best place to have dizi in Tehran! Very friendly staff. Endless supply of delicious torshi, sabzi khordan, hot naan sangak, and Iranian tea with sweets. Dizi a traditional iranan food is quite heavy, go with a big appetite or go in a group to share.
