This is functioning here since early nineties and about 10 years back re-modelled as a walk-in shop. It has a good variety of provisions and items not easily available in kirana shops. The entire first floor is for household plastic (polymer derived) goods. Has a satisfied customer-base. Needs of upwardly mobile families may also be met to some extent, though not like huge modern day deptt stores.

Lakshmi stores is one of the oldest shops in the area. A few years back, they made the shop a supermarket with air conditioning. They offer discount on almost all products. Fast billing and good service.
