Had a amazing experience. First time i went to this stadium for an world cup match Pakistan vs South Africa.. The stadium was maintained clean with good hospitality.. Restrooms are clean and its available in each block.. Snacks and cool drinks are costly inside..
Parking is not available inside.. You can park at your own risk around beach or shops or near by complex or hospital area.. Better try to come in auto or train..
Stadium has excellent view.. Where ever you sit you can see the whole ground..

Went for the ICC World Cup 2023 match between Afghanistan and Newzealand. The match and crowd was really good. It was organised really well. They have renovated the stadium and it was really clean. All the washrooms were also clean. The only issue is that there is no parking or any clock room nearby where you could keep your bags as they won't allow bags into the stadium. The metro is only at a walkable distance.

It’s a dream come true place for everyone every cricketers every humans compare to old one. Now its ultimate now they introduced M Karunanidhi stand. Into the next level

Great atmosphere, amazing experience watching NZ play against Afghans. All the facilities were great. One area which they can improve is the Refreshment and snacks offerings at a considerable price. Overall a nice place to be and a historical one....

I visited this stadium to watch the game between Pakistan and South Africa during the ICC World Cup 2023. The stadium is well maintained, and drinking water is provided free of cost. The initial stands, A through F (maybe), have no shade to protect against the sun during the afternoon. I observed a difference in entertainment between watching in the stadium than online.

I don't think I'd have anything more to say about Chepauk than those that haven't already been said about this beautiful place. It's a temple for us cricket fans who follow it like a religion. Have been to a couple of stadiums in India but Chepauk does have its own charm. Recently, I was lucky enough to experience the India vs Australia group stage World Cup match where Virat notched up a pretty little half century, seeing the master at his best was certainly a special treat and one of my most memorable experiences of Chepauk. Cannot wait to watch a few more IPL matches with Dhoni coming back as captain.

Chepauk stadium never disappoints, It is pleasure to watch any matches in this ground. The atmosphere makes everyone to become cheerleaders. The crowd loves every team and see it as a sport and doesn't mix with religion. CHEPAUK... LOVE YOU for all the memories...More to come

One of the best stadiums in the world, that has a surreal view all over the arena. The atmosphere would be crazy whenever IPL happens. Everyone would love the cool breeze during the evenings.

For the first time, I went there to see the  2023 World Cup match between Pakistan and South Africa. I had the impression that I was at a  religious community celebration. Nearly 30,000 people watched the game  that evening in the stadium, showing  their support for both teams. In the end, the game was an exciting  Friday night blockbuster.

M A Chidambaram stadium formerly known as Chepauk stadium, is located in Chepauk near Marina Beach in Chennai the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu in India. Immensely blessed to have played cricket on this ground. The stadium was established in 2016. Renovated to improve match viewing experience that was earlier hindered by Pillars. Stadium can seat about 50000 spectators. Apart from the cricket ground the stadium has a swimming pool, facilities for Badminton , Squash, Tennis. Key club houses in the stadium include MCC, Bouncer, Vector and Cricketer. The cricket ground / stadium is one of the best in the world

I especially came to see the Stadium 🏟. Really great, I just wondered myself after the pitch.

Massive crowd and great atmosphere.... crowd was cheering for every wickets OR boundaries for either of the team (during SA vs PAK match).... this is why TAMIL (from my observation) people made everyone feel proud as always... 👏 that too enchanting more for PAKISTAN.... good to see such a wonderful gesture 🫶

It was awesome watching India vs Australia world Cup match with crowd cheers and watching cricketers live. India won that match in a thrilling fashion. BCCI arranged free water for the whole matches to all as it is a world cup.. If the same will be arranged other than world Cup matches it will be useful for all of the spectators coming to visit the other matches.. DJs also arranged to entertain the audiences in between the overs. I added some videos of it.

The atmosphere and crowd was fantastic .. it’s definitely one of the best stadiums in the world . Off course it’s the den for Dhoni ..

I checked out M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, also known as Chepauk. It's the home ground of the Chennai Super Kings and one of the oldest cricket stadiums in India.
I've been there a bunch of times for different matches and it's always a great time. There's a cool breeze from the sea and it's near Marina Beach. The new stands are awesome for watching the game. Overall, it's a pretty sweet stadium.
Historic cricket stadium in the country and hence got an different vibe altogether which is must to experience. The lower stand back seats unfortunately have restricted views.
The top most portion is not visible (can see attached photos). Also especially from the K Lower stand the screen is not visible at all… that affects overall viewing experience.

Good stadium, neatly maintained. Upper stands will give a clear view. Difficult for car parking, bike parking can be tried.. Best way is to come up to Government estate through metro and then walk for 1.2 kms to reach stadium.
