Went there on a busy Sunday on Christmas Eve, there was waiting time of 10-15 minutes, tried their special items for the day. Most of the Dosas were really tasty, it is a pure vegetarian restaurant and offer wide range of North Indian and South Indian cuisines. Surely recommend if your want to try chennai cuisine.

Always busy hotel .....Taste is at its best...All items breakfast, lunch and dinner all are excellent. Veg eaters must visit at least once. Quality is unbeatable.

The food here is yummy. The combo breakfast is the best for the price. I wonder how they provide such a great taste at a very less price. The place is so well organised, though there is a great crowd. Minimum wait time for service. Absolutely vegetarian food 😋.

Clean restrooms. Valet parking is available.

Update : In our recent visit we tried few indo chinese items , they tasted very good. Consistency in terms of quality and service is really keeping this place a top vegetarian restaurant in this area.

Akshyam Restaurant offers delicious food at affordable prices, making it a great budget-friendly option. While the taste is impressive, there is room for improvement in customer service. Understandably, balancing quality with cost may pose challenges, but enhancing service could elevate the overall experience. Worth a visit for tasty meals on a budget!

Today, I visited SREE AKSHAYAM Annanagar branch. For over 5 years, I've been a patron, enjoying excellent service and tasty food. However, today's experience was disappointing. The valet parking attendant's behavior was disrespectful, and the air conditioner in the hall wasn't functioning properly, with staff not addressing the issue adequately. It's disheartening when long-standing expectations aren't met.

Absolute must visit if one is in Chennai. First floor is air conditioned and the ground floor isn’t.
Sit wherever you get a place and enjoy the traditional and innovative dishes.
We ordered for Guntur Podi Idly, Idlis wrapped in banana leaf(forgot the dish name), Gobi Manchurian, Onion Rava Dosa and Spinach Dosa. Assortment of 3 different types of chutney and awesome sambar. Topped it off with horlicks 😀
Each and every dish was mouthwatering. We ate like glutton and it’s genuinely difficult to take even a few steps

Hotel akshayam is situated at Shanthi colony. Opens at 7 am and closes at 11 pm. We had idly and dosa. Very tasty and hot. Very good service. Neat and clean. They are also having different types of cakes, sweet and biscuits. Better place for family restaurant. They have very good parking space.

I took my family here and it was a good experience.

The atmosphere is just perfect for a family. The food tastes really good. The meals is a good choice if you're visiting this restaurant during lunch time.

The North Indian cuisine available here is also delicious.

The service is fast and the wait time for the food is very less when compared to the large crowds the restaurant sees during peak hours.

Food is amazing. They serve everything hot. Went for lunch with my mom. Totally loved it. They are really friendly. Food is good. If you are a person who is looking a a vegetarian restaurant this is the best. I tried the special meals as well as normal meals they treat all equal even if we ask for extra they provide. For vegetarian this is the best.

We stepped into the hotel just before their closing time. The supervisor has accepted our request and advised the staff to serve us. The menu options were minimal, and the staff delivered our choice of items immediately. Very nice food and tasty. The staff were very polite and friendly. It was a pleasant experience that the hotel has done their best service to us just before closing time.

At this place you can have the best south Indian breakfast! It was delicious 😋

Evenings are the busiest hours at this place... Taste of the food is amazing and quantity is also very good. The price is pretty decent for economy preferred class... The food variety they serve are a lot and one will definitely be confused to choose from it...

The family hall is available only after 7pm during the evening. The hall will be crowded and one have to wait for sometime. The family hall on 1st floor can hold upto 75 people and the hall get filled on the weekends and holidays only....

Hi, we visited this place last Sunday for a lunch and were floored by the quality and the price was unreasonably reasonable. Funtastic taste and a wide variety to choose from. We really loved the food. The only problem was crowd, both in ground floor and 1st floor. There is no system for reserving in advance this restaurant works on first come first served basis. You have to present yourself with family and give your name and simply wait. Be prepared to wait for e0 mts during peak time on week ends. That was the only down side. But it is worth the wait I should say. If you can plan to be slightly ahead on these days not a worry. The taste still lingers in my mouth and we plan to make another trip but not during week ends. Due to the crowd the restaurant is noisy so you cannot expect to have a relaxed meal at this place so brace yourself for that. When the crowd goes up there is little waiting space, this is another deterrent to be kept in mind. For me more crowd means more people are liking this place so it is a positive point. Food is always fresh... so go ahead and enjoy your food at Sree Akshayam.

Excellent ambience and superb varieties. Delicious items and very tasty. For every table in a gap ten Seconds serving staff eyes will reach you, to look for anything additional. Kudos to management for the training and having good staff 🙏👌👍 regards

One of the best place for Breakfast with pocket friendly price.

This restaurant was a good option for breakfast bcz they serve mini meals for 69 (dono the aprox price) taste was literally so good and must try.. for some days it has became my daily vist place.

They serve idly , pongal, vadai, dhosai and a coffe as mini breakfast.

Ambiance is so good bt lack of seating may lead to wait.

They also habe A/C dining at first floor bt the cost was high compared to normal

Price - A/C 110/-....... Non A/C 69 (not sure bt its below 69 only)

Loads of variety of veg items... Hot cakes that sell are masala dosa and idly.... Chinese bhel is the I tried for starters and it's awesome.. the best that I had... Super and delicious veg food....

Very tasty food.... Reasonable rates... Superb 👌👌👌must definitely visit for meals.
