Defected products at a low price. Had a terrible experience with this local toy and gift shop.
They sold us a product which was broken. Something that we discovered after we opened the gift. To our surprise, the product (which appeared sealed with tapes) did not event start.
Immediately went back to the store and the store owner said that a gear inside may have moved out of place. (This clearly happened before we were even handed over the product at the store because the box appeared sealed)
The owner said he would open it up and fix it. He did and we returned home with the toy.
Minutes after it started working with the new batteries (which we purchased on our second trip to the store) the toy ceased again.
The next day we went to the store again. Where the sneaky owner hinted at the coworker “that we should not exchange this” in Gujarati. Unfortunately for them my wife understood the language and immediately spoke back in the same.
The shop owner refused to take back the toy this time blaming the bad batteries stating that “these Chinese toys take the battery load for nothing more than an hour”. Indeed that wasn’t the case as it barely worked for 5 minutes. They said that a fresh piece of this is expected to come tomorrow and they will exchange this defected piece of with that. My wife immediately asked the shop owner whether they sold her an old piece, they had no answer.
To our luck we also discovered that the toy was used. It was a piece that was returned to the store and was resold. Utter cheats! Never going back here ever again.

Defective products at stores. Worst shop and the owner is too rude.
