Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park

One of the biggest playgrounds of Mumbai and renowned for its historical stories. The park circumference is approx 1.17km. It is very near to seashore and the Chaityabhumi. All different types of people reside here around the park. There is Temple of Lord Ganesh, named " Udyan Ganesh Mandir ", Maharashtra Kabaddi Association, Shree Samarth Vyayam Mandir, Gymkhana also. Daily, the park is full of sports enthusiasts, most of them are cricketers. There is open gym and a volleyball ground behind it. The park is open for all time. Along the shores there is small garden. That's all. Very nice place, made most careers of Indian sports.

Great place if you want to watch Sunset. No too much crowd. You can peacefully enjoy the view, snacks are available.

The gound was unbelievably huge and there were so many kids were playing cricket and other sports which was awesome to see and the environment was great too

One of the best parks in mumbai...there is a very decent play area for children, a round of walking track, sitting and chilling places, a temple, a sports complex, open ground, food stalls, and nearby dadar chowpati. Also a wonderful cool Breeze all the time. This park is loved by people of all ages. There are many functions happening. This is an iconic park.

Shivaji Park is a heaven for cricket, it has produced world class cricketers, with 1.25km radius it's a huge ground, if you are a cricket lover, health conscious person or just want to breath fresh air and have a good time this is a place for you too visit.
