We visited this place on Saturday..alot of people were there... overall experience was good. There was a long queue. So request you to go early like before 12 p.m for quick darshan without queue...then I took Prasad it was very delicious...don't forget to take it from the counter😋

A very nice darshan in Lord Ganesha's siddhivinayak mandir. We went there on Thursday around 9 am . There was no rush and no big ques as it was weekday . Beware of the scammers who will ask to keep chappals n shoes outside the entrance of the mandir just before the security check. They will force you to keep chappals near their prasad stores and they will give you Prasad tray and will charge a huge amount for it. Instead just as you cross the security point you will find Free footwear storage and you can keep your chappals there . I would advise you to buy the flowers and prasad tray from inside the temple only which will cost around 100 much cheaper than outside . Do buy mahaprasad from the sweet store and relish god's divine presence with the temple and at Last also don't forget to visit the Hanuman ji temple Just by the side.

Divine place but lack of proper parking. Strongly recommend not to come with your own vehicle.

VIP culture is there.

No need to book in advance. But special line are with cost.

Jai Ganesha ... Visited on weekdays in early Feb still it was full of people , Nice feeling ... There was a long queue for normal entrance & if u want to spend lesser time you can opt by paying 1500 rupees & 4 people can do puja without standing in a queue ... Must visit place when in Mumbai.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai for the first time. I had heard a lot about this temple and was very excited to see it for myself.
The temple is located in the Prabhadevi area of Mumbai and is easily accessible by public transportation. I took the train to Dadar Station and then walked to the temple. The walk was about 15 minutes long and was very pleasant.
When I arrived at the temple, I was immediately struck by its size and grandeur. The temple is made of white marble and is very ornate. The main entrance to the temple is through a large archway. There are also several smaller entrances to the temple.
I entered the temple through the main entrance and was immediately greeted by a large statue of Lord Ganesha. The statue is made of gold and is very impressive. I took some time to admire the statue and then proceeded to the main hall of the temple.
The main hall of the temple is very large and can accommodate a large number of people. The walls of the hall are decorated with murals depicting the life of Lord Ganesha. There is also a large altar in the center of the hall. The altar is where the main idol of Lord Ganesha is located.
I made my way to the altar and took some time to pray to Lord Ganesha. I then proceeded to the other areas of the temple. The temple has several other smaller shrines dedicated to other deities. I also visited the temple museum, which houses a collection of artifacts related to Lord Ganesha.
Overall, I had a very positive experience visiting the Siddhivinayak Temple. The temple is very beautiful and is a great place to worship Lord Ganesha. I would definitely recommend visiting the temple if you are in Mumbai.
Here are some additional thoughts from my perspective as a first-time visitor:
The temple is very popular and can be quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays. If you are planning to visit the temple, I recommend going early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the crowds.
The temple is free to visit, but there is a donation box at the entrance. You can donate any amount that you wish.
There are several shops outside the temple where you can buy flowers, coconuts, and other offerings for Lord Ganesha.
The temple is wheelchair accessible and there are also restrooms available on site.
I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking.
I would also recommend dressing modestly. For men, this means wearing a shirt and pants. For women, this means wearing a saree or salwar kameez.

Old temple of Mumbai , those who visit Mumbai must visit and take blessings of siddhi Vinayaka, Dadar Mumbai
It is near to Darar railway station just 1.5km by walk u can go and enjoy the vibe and don't forget to take prasada ( Laddu ).
Be safe the shops near to temple are forced people to buy Pooja items , if u go with group of people the purchase only one Pooja item.
Just visit then u will keep on visiting.
Thank you 😊🙏

Very divine temple you can feel the presence of deity in the temple
It is usually very much crowded on Tuesdays and Chaturthi
The flower and Prasad selling shop outlets might make a fool out of you so kindly avoid taking anything from them and you can remove your footwears after the security check

It was a devine experience. I love to visit this mandir whenever I come to Mumbai. Good arrangements are there at the mandir gate to keep your shoes and valuables safe. Locker system to keep Laptop, cameras etc. Because these things are not allowed inside the mandir but you can take your mobile phones and small bags.

Peaceful place 🙏
Weekends as usual are very crowded. We got into the donation queue and we got the darshan in half an hour. The non-donation queue was about to take 3 hours. The donation queue charges 200 per person.

The best. Three types of lines for bhakts.

1. Normal row.
2. 100 rs.
3. 1500 for 4 people.

You can get it from counter inside temple.

You can carry mobile and handbang with you.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS ASKING YOU TO KEEP YOUR CHAPPALS OUTSIDE THEIR SHOP

It is very interesting and surprising that the siddhivinayak temple administration does nothing to protect the devotees from these scammers that on the dedicated entryway to the temple conduct their business of scamming unsuspecting people. They ask you to remove chappals before entering the temple. As any place of worship, that is a sign of respect and mandatory in 90% placed. But the temple administration shows 0 interest in putting up boards that show that there are numerous stalls dedicated to keeping your footwear inside for free. And these scammers have 0 motivation to inform you that either. They don't charge you for footwear safekeeping (that is a stretch, the footwear just is there in a pile out in the open. I wouldn't keep any shoes that looks valuable there). Instead, they hands you a plastic tray with "Pooja materials". They doesn't specify how much it is. I asked, they said the tray was for 750. There is a whole range of them but the least one is 250. Because I didn't know whether there would be a place to store chappals ahead, I had to take that tray.

They didn't do anything illegal, they just didn't disclose information. Sketchy. But not illegal. Also, like most things in Mumbai, their products their price. 250rs is so not overpriced for a few flowers, a silk piece of cloth, few modaks in a box and a coconut. Standard Mumbai pricing.

I also saw people keeping shoes for money but I don't think they charge 250 for that.

If you are the target audiance of the Rs. 1500 ashirvad for 4 package that was advertised inside the temple, these all should sound very normal to you.🤣 Everyone else, there's free shoe storage inside after you get through security.

Also, get the Prasadam they are selling inside. Coconut barfi was really good value for 20rs.

Very religious place make sure what you wear and visit this place.
Don't take your own vehicle as parking is not at all available nearby.
Don't take any sort of laptops or such because it's very, very expensive to store it in safe locker.
Avoid going on Tuesday and Sunday as there's lot of rush.

Sidhi vinayak Temple has a very Peaceful and elevating atmosphere. It is always a great experience when you visit this temples. The place is a holy temple of Lord Ganpati and is very famous among its devotees. I always get vibes of blessings and holiness. There is notion that whatever you wish in the temple gets fulfilled after praying sincerely in this temple One has to whisper a wish in the ear of a mouse statue in this temple to get it fulfilled.. This temple is a "must do visit"for those visiting Mumbai, regardless of belief's held. Over the years, security, logistics and public safety have been improved. However, be prepared to queue and be jostled around due to the sheer amount of people. Proper security check is done before entering the temple. The arrangement of queue is effective for crowd management. But the best time to arrive is in the early morning. A must visit place for all seekers of Bappa's blessings!! Ganapti Bappa Moreya🙏🏻.
