The owner here charges exorbitant rates for the goods he sells. Problem being he is situated outside IIT B Campus. IIT students buy some hardware from him and they dont know the actual market rate so he loots the students. The novice students end up spending a huge amount on small items.
I myself once visted the store and asked For MS plated Screw M2.5 x 12., and the price he quoted was Rs.6 per Peice. I just left the store... I got the same screw at 50 paise each from Himmat Vikhroli...Another time i went to him for pipe fittings again he quoted exorbitant rates. I suggest students should vist himmat hardware in Vikhroli or SV enterprisea bhandup... they are very reasonable and have variety of Items, and also their not very far from IIT B.
