One of the finest pan Asian restaurants in Mumbai and so glad I could make it here for Lunch. Super Chic décor with fine touch of posh Black interiors making you dinning experience one of a kind. If you are looking to a Private party or dinner for 10-15 people you can book in the private room for your family and group and avail the best service here.
The most appreciable point of the restaurant is they have extensive Options for all types of food eaters. They have a defined menu options with vegetarian, vegan , gluten free, meat lovers ,fish lovers and for salad lovers . The menu is so vast and so extensive to have a open option for all .
The staff here is super courteous to suggest you and bring in the best dish for you . Do go with their Chef's recommendations since you can never go wrong with these dishes.
Must try would be
(Dont miss out on the dim sums and sushi since its dim sum and sushi festival going o)
1. Mushrooms truffle dim sum - One of the finest dim sums I ever had and probably the softest dim sum with the covering being super soft that it will melt into your mouth. Mix of button mushrooms and Shitake Mushrooms bring in the subtle flavors to a sharper strong mushroom flavor . Best had with Scallion Sauce for the hit of spice.
2. Spinach Cheese corn dim sum - One of the most classic and traditional dim sum combination which has been a favorite of all time. The cheese is just so well mixed up with spinach and corn that it blends in with cheese making it super soft and creamy to enjoy. Best had with Light soy.
3. Minced veggies Dim Dum - If you are looking for crunch in your dim sums you should try out this one for sure. Finely chopped veggies as filling with a mild mix of flavors of celery , carrots , chestnuts makes it a crunchy experience .
4. Yaki Crab California Maki roll - Crunchy crab with nori , sriracha mayo , asparagus making the flavors come out so well with ginger and light soy.
5. California Maki roll - The its classic Philadelphia roll with nori ,avocado and cream cheese making it the most loved sushi with toasted sesame seeds.
6. Tempura asparagus- Tempura asparagus has been my favorite for ages now and must say Meishi has made stand out completely making it by far the best i have had all over mumbai.
7. Lotus shoot and pumpkin honey glazed sauce- What a lovely , crunchy , chewy appetizer with deep fried lotus shoot and pumpkin with bell peppers and wok tossed in honey glazed sauce making it have a sweet and tangy texture.
8. Crispy cheese Bites - Oh my my what a lovely appetizer which on a cut brings you out oozing out of melting cheese cooked in sweet chilli sauce . Totally loved it never had any dish like this.
9. Wok tossed veggies in black bean sauce - Classic wok tossed veggies with black bean sauce is the best side for rice and noodles .
10. Pan fried noodles - Noodles cooked in Hakka style with soy and crispy veggies the pan fried cooking style gives a light burnt effect to the noodles making it taste really fine giving you the aroma of the sesame oil really sharp.
So glad to get a chance to meet the chef himself to ask you the feedback of your meal. Appreciating this gesture mad it feel like a home experience.
Special mentions to Meethil for suggesting the best and brining the best dining experience .

Over all 10/10 for food, portions, value of money , decor , staff, hospitality, taste, presentation. ❤

Meishi
A beautiful place in a much more beautiful hotel. “Meishi” literally means in a Japanese business card. Located on the ground floor of the famous hotel The Park.

The interiors are classy and elegant. The service is spectacular and the staff is friendly and well informed. This restaurant has an elaborate menu to offer to range from Japanese, Asian, Chinese, Thai and Malaysian cuisine. A special thanks to restaurant manager Shivam who was the best host and really has a good knowledge and passion about the food.

We started off with Sesame Sour and Thai You. Both the cocktails were exceptionally good and quite smooth for me. I am sure you are going to enjoy it.

Coming to the Food, I have started with Amuse Bouche i.e. Togarashi dusted Edamame. I love Edamame and they just were brought to a new level.

Lotus Root, Sweet Potato and Pumpkin: Damn it was delicious. It also has thyme honey chilli. I just loved the flavor. Finished this dish in 5 minutes.

Rock Shrimp Tempura: Actually here they given us small portion of Wasabi Prawns for tasting. I must say both Rock Shrimp and Wasabi Prawns has distinct flavors. A perfect dish to compliment.
Carpaccio: Very interesting dish. Made up with Avocado and Silken Tofu. For balancing they have added orange olive salsa with peri peri dust. It has a perfect combination of flavors.

Sushi: When you visit here please don’t forget to try the varied Sushi they offer. Special mention of their Wasabi. It’s very spicy.

Spicy Lobster Dimsums: This was one dish we did not like. It was not seasoned well and texture was also not proper.
Fresh Burrata Salad with Rocket leaves and Sun Dried Tomatoes: Thai style salad with pickled peanuts and vegetables. It’s different than our normal salad. It looks and tasted awesome.
Bhutanese Datshi: Datshi is the national dish of Bhutan and it is very spicy. It is a simple stew made of a variety of chillies, cheese and veggies/ pork. I had the Veg one with organic rice. The moment when you take a bite, you will get a sweet creamy flavor of cheese along with spicy flavor of chillies. This dish was different and unique and a must try here.
Home Style Thai Red Curry: It was a great choice to indulge the Thai cuisine. I just love the exotic flavor of the cuisine.

Lastly desserts, we tried out two different and unique dishes Earl Grey pots de crème with Lavender Ice Cream and Crunchy Caramalised Banana with Coconut Ice cream. The Lavender Ice Cream was so delicious and a show stopper. The other dessert I don’t like that much but you can try surely.

There were more hits than misses. I simply love their hospitality. Overall, I would be visiting them again for sure and recommend this place to everyone.

Cheers!!!

The Park Hotel (Headquarters) in Kolkata comes up with a 60 room at Juhu. They also have one in New Mumbai. Meishi (Pan Asian Restaurant) located on the ground floor looks chic. There are some authentic Japanese dishes as well. Menu curated by Chef Altamsh Patel along with Chef Ashish Kadam. Had a chance to visit this place a couple of days back. Started off with some good cocktails, SOM TUM SLING (spicy/tangy) Gin based with Thai chilli and whole black pepper. Missing was the green papaya though. Sesame Sour was one with a twist (their version of whiskey Sour)

Coming to Starters and other dishes:

----------------------------------------

Lotus Root along with Pumpkin ad sweet Potato (sliced well) this is a gluten Free/Vegan dish. Tossed in Honey chilli. Each of the above 3 ingredients have a different texture. Taste was good. Tangy/Sweet. Starch level was perfect. Sprinkles of sesame and bell peppers.

Rock Shrimp Tempura - Crunchy/Nicely balanced. Nice portion. Placed on lettuce leaves. Wasabi Mayo and Togarashi. Both have different texture and flavours. Wasabi gives you a bit of hit. Togarashi a bit of spice. Combination and balance was good.

Sushi - Meishi is known for its Sushi. IKURA Salmon Roe (It's basically salmon all the way) but Ikura (salmon eggs) played a big roll. By the way Tobiko is a Japanese word for Flying Fish roe. Made Fresh a tad salty (that's how it is supposed to be) Overall good.

California Maki - Common these days in this part of the world balanced well with crab stick (crunch) prawns, tamago and asparagus Tobiko (small egg) By the way tamago is a thin omelette on the base of sushi rice. Chef has done a great job.

Carpaccio: Try the Avocado and silken tofu - tangy / Sweet / spicy (peri peri dust gives you that spice touch) Orange olive salsa the citrus/sweet/tangy. Overall it had good flavours. Tofu cut thin (that's what Carpaccio means - an art)

Yellowfin Tataki (Tuna) guess seared for a bit, thinly sliced (Hint of Vinegar) a bit of soy. This was topped with avocado, parmesan and sesame brittle. Taste - bold. Mix of vinegar and soy combination.

DIMSUMS - Try the Mushroom Truffle, Thin layered, stuffed well, aromatic. Truffle plays a big roll. It's simple yet classy.

I have crystal Dimsums with Lamb, this was different. Here the chef has Pan tossed giving a Gyoza look stuffed with Lamb Kotieh with cumin. Natural flavours and herbs. Subtle in taste. Minced well. Gives a bit of Middle Eastern feel.

Salad - do try the messy Fungi salad - amazing. YAM PHAK RUAM (Thai) has to be crispy and crunchy. Cashew nuts with broccoli and asparagus. This again is Gluten Free and vegan. Don't go on the Fungus looks - tastes lovely. It's either a hit or a miss.

Mains - By this time we were a bit full but if there is Datshi one has to order it. This is one of the most famous Bhutanese dishes (wow) Spicy i mean real spicy. It's a mix/blend of chilli peppers and cheese. National dish of Bhutan. It has s thick stew like texture (velvety) comfort food. Here the chef might have used white pepper. This was paired with Organic red rice which went well.

Also ordered a small portion of Red Curry (chicken) made home-style. Balance and texture was good. Went well with jasmine rice. Taste- a bit spicy. Overall good.

Veg - it was Miso glazed tofu with Yaki soba noodles. Here the chef has given star anise infused shitake which was a tad creamy. Meant to be that way. Tofu had a good sheen. Overall this was comfort.

Dessert - i did not try my partner said it was good. Ordered the EARL GREY POTS DE CREME, custard which was infused with earl grey served with lavender ice cream.

That's some food to try (However it was just TASTING PORTIONS)

Overall - No flaw. Service was good. Staff knowledge - good. Both the chefs have done a great job. Thanks guys. Good luck. All the best.

What a refreshing dining experience after a long time. First proper dine in experience of 2021 and it had to be at The Park. Ambience was a class apart and so was the service especially thanks to Ms. Arcana who made sure we loved each morsel of our meal. Not one dish I could point out a major flaw in and that's rare. I would highly recommend that you try their Dimsums menu and Sushi menu too for a galentines. Coming to what I tried :
1. Truffle Mushroom Dimsums (5/5)- The mushroom Dimsums were wrapped perfectly, the filling was amazing and a special mention to their in house sauces I am a hugeeeee fan of their chilli sauce it paired perfectly with these and the Truffle oil fragrance and flavour was prominent. Must try
2.Veg crystal Dimsums (5/5) - I've rarely liked these at any restaurant because the wrapper is too thick usually for my liking but this place has it BANG ON. Perfect crunchy veggies, perfect wrapper, goes perfect with chives dip.
3.Sushi Boat (5/5) - Wow presentation, great taste. Sampled the california roll and avocado cream cheese roll. I personally preferred the latter more.
4.Lotus root Thai chilli (4/5) - Nice crunchy sweet and mild spicy, good change from the regular starters.
5.Crispy cheese (5/5) - HIGHLIGHT OF THE MEAL. Yum. Highly recommend. Melt in the mouth cheese with crunchy capsicum coated in a schezwan style sauce. Highly recommended
6.Veg green Thai Curry with rice (5/5) - Spicy than usual but very nice taste a little different from what you'd expect but I recommend trying.
Overall I recommend trying this place for sure, the ambience and whole dining experience is a vibe but their service can be faster for sure.

An elegant restaurant at the Park Hotel.. Meishi.

I promise this place won't disappoint you.
I had a lovely Asian meal today and loved it.

The Interiors are elegant. Loved the use of greys and gold. A lovely ambiance I must say.

Coming to the food, we tried a lot of dishes.. but tasting portions.

We started off with an amuse bouche which were togarashi coated edamame beans. These are my favorite and the spice mix made it even more delicious.

Then we had two salads a Burrata sun-dried and fungus broccoli asparagus... both were fresh and quite good. Loved the dressing.

The lotus, sweetpotato and pumpkin chops in honey chilli sauce were delicious. Crispy, chew, Sweet, spicy all at the same time. So good.

Hiyashi Wakame Sushi and the asparagus tempura sushi.. both were amazing. Loved the asparagus more. I'm a sushi lover.. so definitely these did not disappoint.

Avocado tofu carpaccio was excellent. Loved it. Loved the orange olive salsa. Definitely a must try.

Mushroom truffle Dimsum and broccoli pinenuts Dimsum.. loved the broccoli one here. The mushroom filling was a little sour. Couldn't taste the truffle oil either. The broccoli Dimsum was done well.

Bhutanese datshi with red rice. Omg..loved this cheesy gravy with potatoes mushroom and spinach. It was creamy, spicy and oh so good.
Red Thai curry with Jasmine rice. It was a good curry but datshi has my heart.

Earl grey pots de creme.. with lavender Icecream. Loved the ice cream. The color looked too pretty and tasted great. The texture was lovely.

Crunchy caramelized banana with coconut Icecream. Loved the caramel over the bananas and the Icecream was delicious. Not s banana fan otherwise.

The mocktails were great.. loved the Thai mojito. Refreshing, Sugar free and so good. Do try it.

Overall had a great meal here.

Meishi is a high end destination for couples, family gatherings, and colleagues to hang out. While the restaurant serves dinner and lunch, it serves as a cafeteria for patrons throughout the day.

Located in The Park Hotel, Juhu, Santacruz, Meishi is on the ground floor, in front of The Waltz, as one enters the hotel.

Upon over visit, we began our meal with appetizers, like vegetarian Sushi platter and crispy cheese balls, to enjoy. While it was my first time with sushi, cheese balls won my heart.

In main course, we went with red thai curry combined with jasmine rice. They both were delicious

Overall, food was good. Hope the waiting time reduces on our next visit, which would accentuate our experience even more.

Review for Meishi Mumbai
Meishi is the in house restaurant situated at The Park, Mumbai.
As the name suggests its an Asian speciality restaurant. The menu boasts of Thai, Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The ambience of the place is nothing short of extraordinary, ofcourse because it is situated inside of The Park.
The service is excellent and the restaurant staff is very courteous and kind. The pricing is quite reasonable, considering that it is an in house restaurant, definitely a value for money.
The menu has quite a lot of options to choose from so you will be definitely spoilt for choices as far as the sushi and the main courses are concerned.
Their bar menu is also quite extensive and elaborate. Lots and lots of options to choose from.
The presentation of the food is very very pleasing to the eye, and makes you want to take out your cameras and go clicking.
The taste is very very authentic and delicious.
The quantity of the food is quite generous so that's not going to be an issue.
All in all I would say that if you are looking for an authentic pan Asian place, coupled with luxury and ambience, you must visit The Meishi.
Cheers to team Meishi.

Meishi, a plush Japanese fine dine restaurant, is situated in The Park hotel, Juhu. On entering the premise, the classic themed destination has a variety of decor elements to steal your attention.

From sofas, reflectives, vibrant umbrellas, outside Meishi, the indoors featuring strings of golden curtain, separating rest of the area from the party section, everything is highly photogenic.

Proceeding to food, we tried two types of vegetarian sushi upon our arrival, served in a wooden boat, with vivid sauces, including wasabi, and soy sauce, and chopsticks to savour with.

Besides, crispy cheese bites with the Asian twist to it, was the star of the evening.

In main course, we opted for jasmine rice alongside red thai curry (non veg), to finish our meal on a good note.

All in all, the experience was great. Hospitality could improve, with management paying more attention to the customers, and reduce the hustle.
One can also visit there for lunch, and dinner, and the evening time is suitable for people seeking a cup of joe.

Meishi is an exclusive Asian Restaurant at THE Park, in Juhu. The ambiance is spic and span, with a private dine in area.

I highly recommend to try their
Yasai California maki and Philly avocado sushi
It's served in a Wooden boat. It's very appealing to the eyes and the taste buds.

Next I recommend their crispy cheese bites, melting cheese bursting in a layer of spicy sauces.

To balance it we had rustic thai green curry with jasmine rice. It was Full of flavours.

Ended the meal with flourless Chocolate with hazelnut icecream
The smooth texture of Chocolate and the crunch of the icecream is a great combination in itself.

I would definitely love to visit them again.
Also don't forget to visit them now for their sushi and dimsum festival

Meishi, at The Park hotel has a beautiful chic ambience that instantly catches your eye.

We recently went lunching recently here to experience the best of dining experience along with warm hospitality. The servers assisted with the best of the confused on what to order. We started with few dimsums which included chicken Peking poched dimsum & fish in black bean sauce paired along with

delicacies from the menu since we were a little

the soy dip , scallion dip & chilli dip.

For appetizers we had, Chicken in black bean sauce: stir fried chicken cooked in 5 different types of asian

sauces.

Crispy Cheese Bites: The inclusion of cheese in Asian cuisine is quite rare & this is definitelythe one that's never leaving our taste buds. Crispy fried processed

cheese tossed in sweet & spicy sauce.

SUSHI

Dragon Roll: Cripsy fried tempura prawns & spicy

mayonnaise.

Philly Avacado Cucumber: Avacado , cucumber & cream cheese.

We ended our meal with the very comforting Thai red Curry & Jasmine Rice.

Ms.Archana , the Manager at the restaurant assisted us beautifully throughout our entire dining experience.

Highly recommended if you want to indulge in quality

dimsums & other asian delicacies.

Cheers!

This upscale casual dining will surely lift the mood the Moment u enter out here..Their spacious seatings n edgy interiors will surely excite u..This pan Asian restaurant boasts an electic selection of dishes spanning Japanese, Malaysian, Thai, Chinese n Bhutanese, taking diners through a culinary trip of the region.. Some of the dishes are available in vegan, keto n gluten free options.. They have a very enticing bar menu which offer tremendous variety.. Here's my take on whatever we tried out here

Food..

Togarashi dusted Edamame - This one had unique flavour of togarashi spice dust coating the pods.. The combination is an aromatic n complex blend of flavour adding a bold n spicy tasty

Carpaccio n tataki - We had avocado n silken tofu n Words fail to describe its flavour n texture.. Super fresh n soft avocado was peeled n sliced as thin as one can imagine n was served along equally soft n thinly sliced tofu in a very decorative manner.. It was served along with orange olive salsa n was garnished with peri peri spice to make sure ones palate is pleased

Yam Phak Ruam - This healthy n nutritious Thai salad made with assorted vegetables in a sweet, sour n tangy dressing had a combination of broccoli, asparagus n fungus..Fresh lettuce n roasted cashew gave it a crunchy bite.

Burrata salad - Buttery Burrata cheese was marinated with best vinaigrette n topped with rocket leaves n it was palate pleasing one

Broccoli n pine nut crystal dimsums - The dimsums hit the spot.. Dimsums stuffed with broccoli n pine nut were steamed to perfection n had a perfect dough, not too hard n not too soft.

Mizo glazed tofu, yaki Soba noodles, star anise infused creamy shiitake - Japanese noodles, yakisoba, was packed with veggies n tossed with a simple, flavorful sauce.. Flavorful crispy tofu sits atop a bed of light noodles.

Thai curry with jasmine rice - Jasmine rice was aromatic n it did go very nicely with Thai curry which was full of veggies.. Curry was not as thick as I would have liked it to be but flavor was simply too good, making up for it

Bhutanese datshi n organic red rice- Datshi is a thick Stew made up of cheese, mushrooms, spinach, potatoes n chillies.. Chilles used in preparation is very spicy.. Its paired with organic red rice which had nutty taste, had firm texture n it was full of flavors

Jasmine tea - After a spicy end to meal we were served refreshing jasmine tea complimentary to clean our palate so that we could enjoy our desserts

Earl de pots de creme - These Earl grey chocolate pots de creme are silky with an intense chocolate flavor n a subtle note of Earl Grey tea... It's topped with lavender ice cream n it's a heaven on plate

Crunchy caramelized banana n coconut ice cream - These bananas, cooked in just a bit of caramel, are crispy n gooey on the outside n almost like a soft pudding inside..Coconut ice cream pairs so perfectly with these caramelized bananas

Drinks..

In drinks we tried Happy by thirsty, Som tum sling, Elderflower fizz n all were good n refreshing

Kudos to entire team for their gastronomic expertise.. Service was of top notch.. Management is warm, welcoming n proficient..Its an expensive place but worth .. This two month old place lives up to hype it has generated in short time.. Go n enjoy
