Gopal's Sweets

Gopal Sweets is a confectionery shop and sweets shop which has a restaurant on the 2nd floor. It is a very good outlet, a paradise for foodies. It is clean and well maintained. The craving for snacks, sweets and bakery items is curved here. The mouthwatering chole bhature, paneer tikki, chole Rajma, soya chaap, aloo tikki and many more varieties are available here.

Good food, all kind of variety, South Indian, chineese, curry, variety of cakes, different types of sweets, cold coffee with ice cream, strawberry shake, all good food and sweets

For me, it is 'THE' place where I have to go whenever I am visiting tricity. May be it's a personal nostalgic thing for me, but I never have second thoughts for considering my visit at Gopal's. Be it sector 8 or the one in Sunny Enclave (Mohali) or one from sector 15 market.

Loved the food and ambiance. Wide array of options as per your taste. Service is smooth.

Pasta was amazing as always. Mini Thali (Dal Makhni with Paneer Naan) made with desi ghee & curd was also superbly delicious.

Tip: You can get pasta before 9:30pm only.

Food looks good most of the time, only one or two time I had complaints about food taste so I got the resolution. Overall nice experience and good place to have fun and food with family.

There are delightful options available for sweet and quick bites, particularly the Bengali sweets, making the visit thoroughly enjoyable.

A great stop for all lip smacking north indian snacks and dishes. The place has a nice seating area which is usually bustling with office goers during lunch hours. The menu is delicious and the service is prompt.
One whole floor is dedicated to sweets which look and taste brilliant. Moreover they have an assortment of chocolates, dry fruits and other gift options.
People in the tri-city feel it's a must visit. Indeed it is.

I got introduced to Gopal Sweets in Patiala and that is more than 20 years back. Whenever visiting Patiala, if we could get chance, we would visit the place, such was it's charm. Later they opened in Chandigarh and Chandigarh people loved going by the response they got. They have now multiple showrooms in Chandigarh and the one at Madhya Marg is a special one. Huge Sweets Shop showroom it is offering big range of sweets, confectionery, dry fruits, snacks, namkeen and a virtual unending array of savouries. And yes you can sit and enjoy snacks, have a meal there, in a neat clean environment. Well maintained, the 'Shop' can leave 'sweet' impression on your memory if visiting this place 🤗. They have so much to offer that honestly I feel my this post won't be able to cover. Suggest make a visit, if not for shopping at least to have a look - it is a worthy outlet in city beautiful. A warming - you may end up picking up something so tempting and so large is the variety of things here! If you don't believe, just see few pics I have posted. By the way, Diwali is just few days away and place was bit overflowing with Diwali offerings.

We had lassi from here and it was good. We bought ghewars and other sweets to our native town and the staff packed it well for us

Good food. Good staff. Rohit amongst the waiters is very well equipped to manage your order. Also Paav Bhaaji and Daal Makhni are the best items along with the Platter.

This place has become a Go To Place for my family. Also my favourite order is Special Thali. If you want to have North Indian food, Gopals is the best place in Tricity.

Lots of different fast foods, bakery items, dry fruits, sweets, chocolate 🍫, Indian fried snacks items, gol gappe. Several types of Gift packs and much more. They also have space to sit and enjoy snacks.

Gopals is really awesome place to visit of having hygienic and quality food . They maintain the place very well. However during festive season they need to make more arrangements to handle the rush. The staff here is also courteous and we'll mannered , overall an excellent experience

Good for snacks, clean washroom, nice ambience an quick service. Ground floor is sweet shop where you can really good sweet products. With second floor as restaurant and third floor for small ceremonies. You can enjoy television while enjoying your food. Prices are competitive to other establishments. You can also enjoy salads, pav bhaji, gol gappa etc which was street food earlier.

Very delicious food and sweets. Good ambience for dine in and lot of varities available for your hungry stomach. Little bit expensive.

Gopal sweets @sector 8 Chandigarh, nice ambience, well seating plan. Had breakfast there and had puri bhaji which was up to the expectations from such a restaurant, tasted good. Also tried dhokla which also was good in taste. All in all a good restaurant for all family members to spent good time together enjoying lovely food 😊

This review is about sector 8 Gopal's. One of the best vegetarian food in chandigarh, this is my personal opnion. They have the best staff. Yes it's a self-serve restuarant. Best is Navratre Thali, if you are visiting this month in navratras. Coming back from Canada specially went there for the food.

14rupee parking ticket, they don't have a huge parking space near the restuarant but yes on thwack side or on the left side there is a huge parking space

I celebrated my daughter,'s bday there.
We tried chhole bhature, Amritsari kulcha red pasta, pav bhaji, rajma chawal, all dishes are very tasty and delicious. White forest cake was simply awesome.
Service was very prompt.
Waiters are highly professional.
Seating is very comfortable.
Far better than bikanerwala.

The food is YUM! Hygiene is BOOM! And the crowd is TUDUM! :)) Love it
