On all sides of the lake, there are lush green trees, flower plants, and alsag tracks for jogging. There are many species of birds here. Really Lake is situated in amzing place and major attraction in the Chandigarh city.

Very nice place, big lake, jogging track, sitting area outside of lake, children can play, boating in lake, virtual games, food available, there is lots of thing to do, you can go with family or friends, excellent place to relax, must visit with extra time

Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh is a sizable lake, and the best time to visit is in the evening when boating facilities are available. However, in windy weather, boating may not be available for safety reasons. There are plenty of eateries at the entrance of the lake, making it the ideal place to spend quality time, especially for some 'me' time.

It is a beautiful place to be honest , Chandigarh government did a fantastic job in constructing this amazing infrastructure around the lake. There is track for jogging, running and strolling around . I saw plenty of old age people walking . Plenty of greenery to ease your eyes 👀. Best place to exercise and relax . Great experience 👍🏼

Such a beautiful place to visit in Chandigarh. You can enjoy the cool and fresh air, boating in paddle boats, automatically operated boats, cruise etc here. Feeding fishes and ducks and feeling the coolness of water on your feet is just so relaxing. There are many scratches who can make a sketch for you within a few minutes, gift shop, food, toys for kids everything is here. I visited this place two times with a gap of almost 13 years and I want to visit it again. You can visit this place for a picnic. There are many gardens, you can enjoy nature among the beautiful flowers, different types of trees and green and fresh grass. Loved this place. If you visit Chandigarh you should visit this place and one more place which is very near to it just a few metres away from this lake is Rock Garden made by Shri Nek Chand. The best place for inspiration for creative people.

This place is special, and my most favourite time to visit the lake used to be during rainy season. The view is spectacular.

I have been visiting this place for past 20 years and it still holds the charm. It brings peace and tranquility. Walking the entire track feels amazing while looking at the greenery on one side and the water with paddle boats and kayaks on the other side. It's one of the most inclusive public spaces I have come across in India. There are people running, walking, doing exercise, couples, elderly, kids and a lot more. Sukhna has something to offer to everyone. I prefer the Garden of Silence side as it's more peaceful compare to the entrance.

Monsoon is one of the good times as everything is lush green and the lake is full. Winter is also great as you can sit and relax on the toasty stone embankment or the grass and eat oranges and soak in the sun.

It's a place one must visit if going to Chandigarh.

Best place for visit and also for walk and boating

The only place that I find worth visiting in Chandigarh. Rest of the places like their Gardens etc., are not too great. Evening is the best to visit Sukhna Lake. You can also do boating here.
