One of favorite spot for tourist.February is the best month to visit . This is the year time when you will see maximum variety of roses. Rose festival also take place in February. It feels so good in the morning fragrance of rose all around.

It's a huge garden with variety of roses. It's well maintained. You can take your baby's stroller/pram too. It's a great place for an outdoor picnic with the family, children will love to play on the swings and slides there. You can play frisbee, badminton and catch the ball. Lot of trees are there too. You can click amazing pictures. There are vendors who sell popcorn, bhel, ice cream etc outside the park, few vendors are there inside the park as well. There are people who will click your photographs and hand you the soft copy or hard copy, if you want to get your professional photos clicked. The roses are beautiful, colourful and big! A must visit place if you're in Chandigarh. Make sure to have atleast 1.5-2 hours with you if you want to see the park nicely.

Really loved just being there. Free Entry, Public friendly surrounding, vibrant sceneries and a hell lot of roses. Just a suggestion for staff that some flowers do need a little bit attention.

Next to city centre, in Sector 16 is situated Zakir Hussain Rose Garden Asia's largest Rose Garden and is spreaded over 30 acres of land having over 1600 different species or roses. These have been planted beautifully carved out lawns and flowers beds. Like the cultural zone which is just across the road in sector 10,this was also planned by Dr. M.S. Randhawa as his interest in horticulture and fondness for flowers was profuse.
Visited Rose Garden last evening and this morning. Both were very different yet awesome experiences. The vibe of this place is electric in the evenings with youngsters strumming on guitars and crooning, an area close to the underpass where they were skating and balding, and strollers and walkers doing their rounds and ofcourse the beautiful fountain.
In the morning the place had a therapeutic calmness. There were walkers, folks doing yoga, meditating under the trees, photographers, bird watchers et all.
While there are over 1600 variety of roses, indigenous trees and other species , I think this park is a community hub and brings the towns folk and visitors together . Do visit and experience it’s cool vibes!

It's the number one rose garden in Chandigarh. There are many types of roses here. You can see red, yellow and many colours of roses. You can also feel the fragrance of roses.

It is a good place for a walk, running and yoga as well as you can spend the best time with your family. It's a very calm place. you can feel fresh air.

Open air gym is also there where you can enjoy doing exercises in the lap of nature.

There are many types of swings for the children to play here. It's good and well mentioned. 🌹 🌺

It is a great and peaceful area, Near leisure Valley and GMSH-16, Underpass between Sector -17 and 16 is great and well maintained.

The brilliant park for children, elders and old age people. The rose garden is very famous for flowers. There are uncountable roses available in the garden. It is a very clean and green park. People love to visit this place because of their beauty and cleanliness. Many visitors from out of the country visit this park to see the beauty of nature. A very beautiful fountain is there in the center of this place which is fully electronic and brightens in the night time.. There are so many rides for children to place and many exercise GYM equipment are available for elders and old age people. All in all it is a very good place for people of all ages.
