Bar Tales is a happening new place in Andheri Lokhandwala area in the same building where Marks & Spencer is.
The ambience is dark and peppy, music loud, bar fully stocked, delicious food and lip-smacking cocktails - what more do you need! We tried a variety of dishes and cocktails from their huge menu. Here are some-

Drinks
Caribbean Cloud: white rum based, super chilled and blended with grenadine. There was a hint of pineapple too. Do try it!

Mexican Merry: this one's for all those 'khatta' lovers! Tequila mixed with tomato juice, tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and black salt. Loved the taste and the presentation.

Orange and Basil Caprioska: Vodka based sweet cocktail. Mild and comforting.

Newyork Sour: The best drink of the night! Bourbon whiskey topped with red wine. Right amount of strong plus delicious.

Food
Peri Peri Murgh Tikka: the juiciest chicken pieces marinated in red spicy masala and grilled to perfection.

Three Mushroom Maki: one of the best sushi I've had. Served with soy, wasabi and pink ginger. Recommended!

Italian Sizzler: we ordered the chicken version. Came with pasta (choice of red, white and mix), pepper sauce, herb rice, butter potato mash and sautéed veggies. The chicken chunks were absolutely delicious. I've never had such flavourful chicken in any sizzler before. Mix sauce pasta was okayish.

Bhati ka Murgh Masala: for main course, we ordered this tandoori indian dish and absolutely loved it! Do have it with cheese naan, you'll be in food heaven.

Berry Blast Panna Cota: the best panna cota you'll have. So creamy and delicious. See pic attached.

Hazelnut Mousse Cake: the only dish which disappointed. Could be a lot more soft and light in texture. Wish I'd ordered the cheesecake.

We went for Wednesday night unplugged where singer Mohit made the evening even more happening with his enchanting voice. Do visit this cool place. Highly recommended!

Recently opened in Andheri, I had good expectations from here as I loved them in Mulund.
They outlived my expectations here. The food was excellent in taste and presentation. The service was the factor I was happiest for.

For Starters, we tried the Paneer and Cheese Enchiladas. Three big enchilada rolls dipped in cheese and tomato sauce. Loved this one here.

We also tried Grilled Corn, Cream Mexicana and Cilantro Bruschettas.

For mocktails, we went for:-
Chilli Guava (favourite)
Pomegranate Iced Tea
Tropical Punch (must try)

For mains,
Veg Exotica Pizza was stuffed with veggies and loaded with cheese, the crust was perfect and we absolutely loved it.

Mexican Sizzler had a portion for rice with beans, french fries, nachos, sauteed veggies, Mexican sauce and a veg patty.
Highly recommended by our server and lived up to it.

To end, we had the American Baked Cheesecake. It was served with Strawberry Coulis and it was the best thing from out dinner here. Absolutely creamy, soft and good quantity.
Do try this one for sure.

Oh what a lovely place Bar tales is!

Was here last week for a quick meal and oh boy fell in love with a place after real long time!

-amazing Ambience (classic, great finesse and a blue and maroon decor sets an old era vibes
- separate sections for smoking, hukkah
- spacious and live music
- service is amazing with respect to attentiveness

The menu is elaborate and has something for everyone to pick up!

Our recommendations would go as
1) Cheese and paneer enchiladas: soft and hceesy, the mild herb flavours work magic!

2) Three mushroom sushi: Favourite from my clan! The Japanese mayo on top adds to zing of flavours!

3) Thai curry and Rice: flavourful not so sweet Thai curry goes well with plain rice! The chilli garlic rice is also delish! The quantity is good!

Check out berry blast pannacotta coz you will love that too!

Among drinks make sure you hit their cocktail section coz that's Lovely! Coffee based cocktails are recommended!

A MUST MUST visit place!

Bar Tales - It is a tale of Bar. It is recently launched its another outlet after the success of the first in Mulund. They serve both types of food i.e continental and Indian. They really have a great chef. Food was delicious.
We visited in the afternoon. There was enough sunlight to cover entire bar tales. It gave one heck pictures. The Seating arrangements are comfortable. You can go in the afternoon and relax or you can go in the night to dance they cover it for you.
Let's Go To the food:
Gaon Chilli Prawns
Prawns salted with green paper chillis and garlic. It was cooked in Gaon Style. Prawns were really good. It has juiciness in every bite. Tasted really good.

Bara Hua Murg
#highlyrecommended #Best-Selling
It is a skewer. Means food on the stick. The chicken is stuffed with spinach & cheese. It was spicy. Something that every Maharashtrian would love to eat. This is their a best-selling dish.

Veg Mexican Sizzler
#TryThis #HighlyRecommended
Love!!! I fell in love with this sizzler. The first bite was enough to tell that it was delicious. Your choice of non-veg or veg served with vegetables, beans flavoured rice, fries, potato wedges.

Drinks
Cocktails
Their cocktails are strong. So careful when you order them. I really liked the way they serve there cocktails and mocktails. You can see that in the below pictures.

Newyork Sour
It is a combination of bourbon whiskey, sugar, lemon, topped with red wine float. Red wine on top and whiskey from the bottom. It was delicious.

Pomegranate Orange Martini
It is made of Pomegranate, orange and vodka. I ordered it because I wanted to drink a sweet cocktail. Believe me, this was worth it. I could barely able to taste the sourness of vodka.

Mocktails
Their mocktail was beautiful. They have unique presentations style. You can see that in the below pictures.
Watermelon & Basil Mojito
#HighlyRecommended
Sea Breeze

Desserts
In the dessert, we order cheesecake which was delicious. With that cheesecake, we also ordered almond brittle with chocolate sauce. Wonderfull combo of almond, Nutella, caramel. This dessert is one of the best in Mumbai.

I visited Bar Tales on the eve of Christmas. Throughout my dining experience not once did I feel that the property is considerably new. The interiors are spacious and can easily accommodate a lot of people. They also have a separate lounge for shisha. We had a variety of dishes and all were delicious. The staff was extremely well behaved and made it very easy to communicate with them.
Sicilian prawns- Hands down, the best prawns I've tasted in a while. It comes with a whitish base and is the perfect starter for your meal.
Bara Hua Murg- The presentation of this chicken starter is unique. It comes in a hanging platter with a dollop of butter below the chicken pieces. The chicken pieces were stuffed with cheese and spinach that made it extra soft that literally melts in your mouth.
Tawa kadippa mutton- Indian curry served with small soft pieces of mutton. We paired it up with butter naan for a wholesome experience.
Banoffee pie- It was a pie served in a tart. The banana flavour oozes out as soon as you take a bite. If you like banana flavour this is the dessert for you.
Hazelnut mousse cake- The classic hazelnut mousse cake that can never go wrong with its flavours was beautifully served to us.
Cocktails-
We did not order anything in specific and let the bartender serve us. We had only mentioned the bases. And the bartender did not disappoint us at all.
Belgian Coffee- A coffee based cocktail where you distinctly get the flavours of both coffee and alcohol.
New York sour- A whisky based cocktail that was slightly on the stronger side.
Ipanema- A gin based cocktail that lifts up your spirits.
King Cole- Again, a whiskey based cocktail. Definitely worth a try if you love whiskey.
We loved their cocktails and their food. The ambience will instantly lift up your mood with the peppy songs playing in the background. The place is definitely worth a try.

‘Bar Tales’ is such an apt name as each Bar table has a tale to tell and my visit to ‘Bar Tales’ left me with a culinary tale to be told!

Visited this newly opened (A month or so) watering hole in Lokhandwala area situated right above Nature’s Basket and with a life size lit sign one cannot miss.

The place is decently big once you walk in, a huge bar to your left, seating is spacious & comfortable and well thought off to accommodate a large group with ease.
A separate smoking section towards the end of the floor is also available!

Walked in on a Wednesday night to live Hindi music by a band and a semi packed audience; not bad considering a weekday night and the place is relatively new to the dining scenes in the area.

A wide selection of cocktails available and neatly classified based on your choice of poison - Be it Whiskey / Vodka / Gin / Rum to LIIT’s along with the regular Spirits.

My poison for the night was 2 beautifully made Whiskey based cocktails ‘New York Sour’ & ‘Whiskey Hasel’

‘New York Sour’ had a good blend of Wine & Bourbon along with lemon & bitters; not sure how they managed to keep the Wine afloat the drink but do make sure to stir before sipping on this, had the right taste but would have been even better with a mix of egg white – Something that can be taken into consideration.

‘Whiskey Hasel’ AKA your usual ‘Whiskey Sour’ a soothing blend of Whiskey Elder Flower & Egg White – A personal favorite & the Bartender definitely got this one right! Must try for Whiskey Lovers!

Appetizers : Choose from Bar Nibbles to Bao’s to Dimsums or even Sushi to well-crafted plates!

‘Hummus’ was presented artistically with Pita bread stacked around the Chic pea paste to form a shape of the Star. Flavors & texture on point here and tasted well!

‘Sicilian Prawns’ was presented on a stone plate with a side of vinegar drizzled lettuce leaves, the olive oil tossed king sized prawns (6 pieces) were juicy & flavorful in each bite!

Mains : Continental / Indian / Pan Asian – Choose your pick!

‘Moroccan Lamb Tagine’ served with succulent lamb pieces cooked in red tomato sauce along with Couscous (Rice option available) was truly soul satiating and the star dish of the night – Definitely recommended!

Sweet Endings : A decent and popular selection available!

‘American Baked Cheese Cake’ came neatly plated with strawberry syrup artwork along with mint leaves thrown in, texture was perfect and the right gooeyness as expected.

‘Banoffee Pie’ loved this one too as it had a very mild taste of Banana, the entire crust was not too crispy or soggy but just the right thickness level with a cream & toffee paste in the center.

Overall a good place to hang out and party after a long day and they even got you covered if your hunger pangs surfaces in-between!

A special tanks to our host Mr. Rabi who magically appeared whenever we needed him!

Bar Tales is the newest lively addition to the growing list of places to eat in Andheri. Located in Lokhandwala, this super chill eatery serves up some delicious food. The ambience is quite lit with amazing music to groove upon.

Staff here was super friendly and helped us enjoy our meal by making some great suggestions along with quick service.
1. Falafel with Hummus and Pita - started things off with this classic middle eastern dish and it didn't disappoint. Soft pita bread topped with thick hummus and falafel made this a must have for anyone visiting here.
2. Bhara hua Murg - next we tried their famous indian appetizer. Chunks of chicken stuffed with spinach and melted cheese served with assorted dips. Yet another lip smacking dish that we recommend.
3. Nasi Goreng - for mains we went for an Indonesian staple. This classic dish was made authentic flavors and was quite filling as well.
4. American Baked Cheesecake - a soft and delicious cheesecake is what we went for to finish our night. Served along with blueberry jam, this dessert proved to be the cherry on top of a great meal.

Overall an amazing dining experience made possible with some great music and delicious food.
