A very popular place and is famous for its Dal Kichdi and chicken kebabs. Ordered for chicken chilly / Banjara kebab / chicken tikka which was very good. The prices are very reasonable. A dinner for 3 along with liquor costed us 2,500 rupees. A must visit when in Mumbai

They do not serve large or small pegs / beers by glass , so enjoy drinks by quarter or bottles . Janata is undoubtedly a crowd puller . Also be ready to share table and make new friends . This place is open upto 3am so chug your drink and eat lip smacking delicacies .

This is one of my groups favourite bars in Bandra since our college days. Even today we feel nostalgic whenever we visit here. Amazing vibe this place has. They serve lip smacking food. And drinks served in bottles rather than flask.

I also had the Daal kichidi and it was wholesome. Lovely food and cheap drinks..what else do you need?

great place to enjoy drinks (hard liquor) with frinends or even alone, come here to relax and get great service and good quality food and drinks, alot of young crowd comes here many times seen foreigners and good class people come, not cheap crowd. service is really nice with nice servers.

Visited this place with my friends, great atmosphere. It had an old vibe to it which I loved it. Loved the food particularly Surmai, it was tasty.

Visited this place after a very long time with my wife- for Valentine's Day no less. It's still so good, I was overcome with nostalgia. The crowd, the food, the service- everything is still top notch. And most importantly, the drinks are still reasonable. Janata is one of the major things I miss about living in that part of town.

Since 1989 I'm going there. Seems like yesterday. Best dish Malaysian kebab. Good crowd on weekdays. Avoid weekend. Sab apne log hai, join any table and relax.

This bar is one the legendary local bars in Mumbai. Food and Liquors are priced at a reasonable rate depending upon the location which it's situated. Service provided here is also good.

It's they youngsters zone... Best place to chill with frnds.. not so expensive also.. their chicken indian green with eggs and chicken chilly are absolutely yummmmm.. I visit this place atleast once in a month..

I dig this place. Honest drinks and tasty food with great service. I had hardly finished sipping my drink before it was topped off with new ice cubes and a fresh pour. I dine everywhere, from streetside bhaji stalls to 5 star tasting menus, and I appreciate the laidback, speedy help. Will be a regular spot for me while I'm in the neighborhood.
