I had lunch at Shadaab. Despite the long waiting line, we were fortunate to wait only for 15 minutes.
The standout dish to try is the Mutton Marg, which is incredibly delicious. Additionally, the Shadaab Special Mutton Biryani was truly delightful, and the Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani easily earns a 5/5 rating. The atmosphere and the staff were both commendable.

Highly recommended to visit this awesome place. The food is amazing and recommend to have their standard dum Biriyanis. I loved the chicken one and tangling kebabs.

After travelling in a heavy traffic around old city, finally reached Shadab at 4:0pm. We were asked to wait for 30 minutes for a table. Imagine the Rush even at 4:30pm then. We got a table. Although we know we are tasting the best Hyderabadi Biryani, we ordered Dragon Chicken starter which is juicy and tasty appetiser. There were no soups available in this place. Later we had Shadab Mutton Biryani, Wow!Tender!! Hot!!! Aromatic!!!! this is one of the best biryanis I ever had followed by Chicken Biryani which is also good. Worth waiting for the Hyderabadi’s Best Biryani. Have it Enzoy it 👍🏻

It was overcrowded with people when we reached there for lunch. But food was really good. We ordered hyderabad mutton Dum biriyani, chicken goti kabab and coke. Please note, if you are going there, you can choose to sit on the ground floor or on the first floor under A.C. But management and staffs are different for each floor, they are not connected.

Not a fancy hotel but in 250 u can have a full biryani and still will not be able to finish it. It's steamy hot and full of freshness of spices and a big piece of chicken. The salan and raita are also on par with the taste. The biryani was well decorated with fried onion. Highly recommended.

Super crowded and you have to wait for hours if your luck is moderately good. Though their Hyderabadi Biriyani both mutton and chicken is amazing. One plate of rice is enough for 3.

- Basically this place was too crowded. Therefore if you decided to have food here, Do visit this place at the earliest 🏃

- Chicken Briyani was really good and it satisfies our hype level. And their Quantity was also more enough 🔥

- Dessert wise Qubani Ka Meetha was really great ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and it's a must try dessert guys. Price wise also it was cheap around 35 Rupees but best dessert ever I tried ✅

- Ambience wise this place was old and not upto the mark. So don't expect best ambience for this place🏚

Surely try this place for their Briyani and Qubani Ka Meetha 🥗🍧

I heard about it a lot and wanted to visit this place for a very long Time.. Finally visited it we went around 4.30pm the place was flooded with many people waiting for their turn for tables... After an hour we got our table.. The food was great and the staff was friendly.. Just loved their biryani

Totally loved the place. They serve a huge proportion of rice, enough for 2 . The taste was amazing. I also tried their faluda, it was also very tasty. 💯

Crowded but good food if you want to eat something authentic. I had Mutton biryani and it was really good.

The hygiene standards are not that great and the place is ALWAYS full. But the food is good, filling and cost effective and hence the five stars.

One of the iconic restaurant in Hyderabad. Love the food, love the biryani. I first visited in 2015 and even after 8 years the biryani is top notch. The place mostly remains crowded, so might have to wait a while to find a table. The restaurant staff are quite friendly too, as they make first cum first serve entry for table bookings.

Paya soup and biryani was worth it! You can also try sheermal and bheeja fry!

The biryani is Really good and there are open non-AC rooms and also comfortable a/c rooms. Make sure you are there early as it gets awfully crowded . If you want any items other than biryani visit before 10:00 AM in the morning after that only 20% of items only will be available. That’s what they said me when I ask them. we went for lunch at 1:00 PM and waiting time was around 20 mins to get a table in normal open area . It’s congested but quite worth for the taste.

Best Hyderabadi Biryani spot. 5 minutes distance from Charminar. Very underrated I must say, this restaurant don’t make marketing gimmicks like other restaurants.

But very crowded place usually during dinner at holidays. So plan accordingly.

Recommendations: Chicken Biryani, Mutton Haleem and Veg Biryani (Yes!!)

The average cost of biryani is between Rs 180-250 for one (two people can share). The biryani comes recommended because it’s not greasy, it’s flavourful and not just spicy and the chicken is very tender.

When it comes to the Haleem, it’s consistency is really on point. It is filled with flavour and no additional toppings like nuts or eggs that alter the flavour. In that sense, the Haleem is very authentic.

The surprise one here is the Veg Biryani. We had a vegetarian friend with us, we all tried the biryani and I kid you not it’s one of the best veg biryani I have eaten. Lots of veggies, packed with so much flavour. It’s really worth it!

This place has stood the test of time in terms of quantity, quality and service. I would highly recommend it.

Best mutton biryani from a local restaurant. The flavors of the spices were perfectly balanced, with each ingredient complementing the others. The mutton was cooked to perfection, and it was juicy and tender, with a melt-in-the-mouth texture. Overall, it was a heavenly taste experience. Note : ignore the crowd.

Taste paya, if you like have it with bread go for it with sheermal roti.
Then order mutton biryani here which is one of the best in hyderabad.

Post dinner, tryout masqati cup icecream 10/- wala or sweet pan in and around charminar.

I recently dined at Shadab Hotel in Hyderabad with friends, and it was an incredible experience. The Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and special kebabs were absolutely delicious, leaving our taste buds craving for more. The authentic flavors and welcoming ambiance made it a memorable meal.

If you can, go on a weekday and experience zero wait time. Amazing chicken biryani. Too much for one person to finish though. They should also add a smaller serving targetted towards solo adventurers.
