🔔Note: Bahar restaurants have 2 places to eat, so if you are coming with family and you have time to wait for 20-30 minutes then go with an option family restaurant otherwise you can have the same food on the ground floor and you don't need wait (AC not available on ground)

I have been staying in Hyderabad since 9 months and being a biryani lover, I tried so many well known places which did not meet my expectations. But this place has got some really good kebabs along with biryani. Unlike other biryani points, Cafe bahar's biryani was so well balanced in terms of spices and flavour. The chicken and mutton pieces were well cooked and the portion was more than enough for one person.
The mutton tikka kebab is a must try.

Hyderabad and their Biryani are world famous and Cafe Bahar is one of the places to try its best biryani.
Even though it was very crowded and occupied during my visit they maintained it very well and I got the table in the next five minutes. I had their mutton biryani which was for 240₹ and believe me it was super amazingly tasty, the heart of the dish was their Mirchi Ka Salan which was very good.
Mutton Biryani was good too with enough amount of quantity for two people which is the perfect size mutton pieces were cooked perfectly.
Definitely one of the best places to try their Biryani in Hyderabad.

This place is non-veg heaven.

The ground floor has open seating areas where you could find vacant spots. However if you are with family and prefer the closed dine in area on the first floor, it would be crowded in peak times so will have some waiting time.

We ordered regular chicken biryani and chilly chicken and it was more than enough for 2 people. It had 2 large chicken pieces. If you are not a hardcore non vegetarian you might be surprised looking at these large pieces.

There is also a tea outlet on the ground floor and we ordered irani tea and it was nice.

This place is heaven for non veg lovers specially for biriyani lovers.

3. Double ka meetha in desert

All the items are must try. 1 plate was sufficient enough for 2. The 2 pieces of chickens were in biriyani were gigantic.

Must visit place in town for biriyani lovers.

Staffs were very helpful.

One point to remember before visiting this place is that due to huge popularity for the quality food of this place, this place is always crowded specially in wkends. So plan your visit accordingly. You have to wait before entering. For us in Sunday evening around 8 PM waiting time was around 20-25 mins.

Super impressed by the biryani. Very flavourful and aromatic, spiced with cinnamon and clove. Portion size is immense. I got the mutton and added two chicken legs on the side. For two people it came to about 12 SGD.

Regarding parking, The area is too congested, it would be very difficult to get any parking near the restruant.

The best biryani I had in Hyderabad Paradise biryani cannot come close, this cafe is all the time full and have to stand in line

Due to over crowd we had our lunch in cafe section and the ambience is ok, but the food was good especially Mutton kheema biryani.

The food here is really good. Especially the biryani and kababs. The portion size is quite a lot. If you want to have authentic Hyderabadi Biryani, this is the place. And the staffs here are really sweet

Absolutely loved the Special mutton Biryani here. I packed the leftovers and had it for dinner instead of waiting for the next day. Qubani ka meetha was simply amazing and absolutely loved the texture! The ones I've had before were mashed and didn't taste as good. Service was quick and prompt. Glad I went here :)

Heard a lot of good things from the locals. Decided to give it a try and it certainly didn't disappoint. It's an age old property but they have been able to manage it well by making more space and renovating. Tried some starters and their signature biryani and just loved it.
Only thing that needs to be taken care is you'll get at least 15-30 mins waiting time if you're looking for AC dining, and around 10 mins for normal sitting, so plan accordingly.
Overall, it was great.

By far the best biryani I had.
Went on a Friday afternoon. And God it was bustling.
A super tasty biryani is all I can say.

I was hoping that ratings would have been given by people who do not know the real taste.. but believe me guys the taste is really really good.. awesome taste.. quantity is also very high.. plz make sure you order based on the high quantity

Cafe Bahar offers delicious Telangana cuisine with warm hospitality. Their flavorful biryanis( fish briyani )and kebabs are a must-try. Friendly staff and cozy ambiance make it a perfect spot for a satisfying meal.

We reached the place around 12:30PM on independence day. Waited around 10mins to get the seat.
We ordered chicken Hyderabadi biryani and Mutton keema biryani. Forgot to take pictures of mutton keema biryani. Chicken biryani was good but mutton keema biryani was one of the best. The aroma of ghee in mutton biryani was awesome. The raita here is one of the best I have tasted. Definitely visit this place.

In our recent trip to Hyderabad, we were looking specifically for Hyderabadi Biryani joints and Cafe Bhahar was one of the option.

Biryani was really nice with big Hyderabadi flavour, chicken quality and quantity was good. For two people, one chicken dum biryani was enough, it comes with 2 huge chicken pieces.

Staff were very well trained, we were planning to order kabab etc but server suggested not to order as biryani would be enough. Servers also suggested a good option for our kido, which was really delicious.

Khubani ka meeta and Tea were too sweet.

Double ka meeta was just awesome. Paneer kabab was awesome, a must have for vegetarians.
