Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

One of the busiest airports of India, and might be the biggest one too.

The airport has everything from book stores to sweet shops, coffee spots, burger king, gifting store, etc all at one place.

The check-in was easy, and hardly took 15-20 mins. There is ample space to sit back and relax.

The flight was on time. It was an Indigo flight.
Most of the flights here are directly to Dubai, a lot of people visit here as the flights are cheaper.

Overall visit to the airport was a good one.
Hyderabad airport as usual has been awarded with many awards and it's maintaining the world class facilities and serving the passengers and making their journey a memorable one and the people visiting it would be loving to be out there and enjoy the scenic beauty of the airport.
There are many outlets out there which serve you to beat your hunger and many cafe outlets to help you beat the heat and also to relax you out there with the many flavours offered by those outlets.
Prepaid taxis,buses are also available to the traveller's round the clock.
Only disappointment was with the exit as one of the fast tag was not working and the cars in queue had to take a left or right turn which causes inconvenience to the other cars which are already lined up.
Hope it can be improved.

The airport is just awesome...and you will feel like it's a big shopping mall too....inside there is a floor totally dedicated for shopping also...you will find the popular brands and there is Apollo pharmacy present on the 2nd floor....the waiting area is spacious....
Very good airport with very good building and facilities. Currently it is going through renovation. Also went to Encalm Lounge just downstairs from lift near to gate number 23. Intensity of crowd is getting higher every time visit here. Good that they are renovating. Staff is polite. Security check and immigration was very fast. Domestic and International airport are at the same place. Only entry gate numbers are different.Good and big airport..
Nice experience,lot many outlets but costly as usual.
If you have connecting flight then you can easily spend your waiting period there.The ultimate Airport experience in Hyderabad, Telengana. The airport is very lavish and well-designed with ultra-high facilities and services. You also get free transportation and buggy-carts to move from terminal to terminal. It has it's own taxi service.

Very much an airport that ranks amongst the best in India. The newly extended part of the departure terminal is like a shopping mall; spacious, good lighting and well-designed shops abound without cluttering each other. The building has views of the apron through large windows. There's room for improvement on the arrival floor, hopefully more travelators will be installed to obviate the long walks and the check-in area will get a face-lift. That apart, it's a pleasure to see the thoughtful additions each time.

Great airport. Efficient service. Has good dining options. Connectivity to the city with busses makes it easily accessible.

One recommendations: The flight screen info shows the same set of flight for nearly a minute. The refresh rate should be better considering almost all information screens are size of a TV.

Well-designed and maintained airport. The infrastructure in this airport is world-class. This is the highest among other airports in terms of infrastructure in India. The service is also good The staff are very professional.

The first thing I liked is how they have landscaped the roadsides from 2-3 kms before the airport. Lawns were neatly maintained and plants were with flowers.

The airport is huge and should be the best airport in south India. The waiting seats near the gates were insufficient and it could be added. Could see still some developments are happening and some areas are blocked for access. Signs are present everywhere for easy navigation inside to find the places.

Its one of the best and most efficient airports in India. Commissioned on 23Mar2008, as a green field airport, by GMR. Earlier it was a well laid out gates and internal logistics. Its become a tad bit directionless now, takes time to figure out where is what, have to ask. This and the Delhi airport are made by GMR. Its a huge land too and hosts concerts, has sports stadium and a 5star hotel. Has good food court options.

The experience at the airport was amazing. It is completely built with new architecture and design patterns. Best infrastructure ever seen. The facilities are very good. Battery car service available for elderly people. Hope soon they launch Terminal 2 as well to balance the load. There is a scope to increase the facilities in Airport lounge.

This is a large airport hub and the second time I’ve stopped over between flights, this time for seven hours! Nice clean passenger areas and the CISF staff are friendly and cooperative, not overbearing. We had hand luggage checked in at the gate and had to go to the luggage carousel to collect, which meant we had to exit the airport and re-enter through security for our connecting flight. This could be designed better.

The airport seating is not for sitting around for long, they’re not supportive enough. The duty free shops are on the expensive side as usual at airports but the eating houses are not. There is a nice pub in the departures lounge too.

I recently had the pleasure of flying through Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and was thoroughly impressed with the facilities and services offered. The airport is located in Shamshabad, about 24 kilometers south of Hyderabad, and is one of the best international airports in India . The airport is well-maintained and clean, with a wide range of shopping and dining options available . The staff is courteous and helpful, and the airport is equipped with all the necessary amenities to make your travel experience comfortable and hassle-free .

Overall, I would highly recommend Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to anyone traveling to or from Hyderabad. It's a great airport that offers a fantastic travel experience .

Well designed and maintained airport. Approach road to airport is very good and surrounding is beautiful trees plantation. Has good options for shopping and food. Gate nos. Directions need to be fixed at various locations for ease of finding gate. Security check is always very slow at this airport and takes time so add at least half an hour to your time to reach gate than normal.

It's a spacious airport with many gates (approximately 22+) and 3 floors. That's why it becomes difficult to search the right gate. You are likely to be lost. There is ground staff to assist you. Ask them how to go and where to go as there are lifts and multiple passages.

Don't carry any pointed objects such as knife, scissors, etc. These will be confiscated permanently.

It is advisable to reach there 2 hours before the departure time to avoid any last minute rush.

There are multiple cafes and hotels. One can shop dresses, show pieces, toys and shoes. But the rates are high.

Also, always listen to the announcements carefully.

The experience at the airport was amazing It was huge and really well designed,equipped with all the modern facilities for domestic and international travellers. One must visit the Karachi store and the Bombay stores to buy the world famous osmania biscuits and beautiful gift articles respectively. It has 124 terminals to take on domestic and international flights you have to walk a lot 🫣

The travel experience offered by Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) is excellent. The airport is well-maintained, with state-of-the-art amenities, and quick check-in procedures. The personnel was polite and the security procedures moved quickly when I visited on October 29. Waiting is made more pleasant by the terminal's spaciousness and array of stores and restaurants. RGIA is a dependable option for air travel because of its general organization and cleanliness, which leave a good impression.

Very good Infrastructure.
Many airport executives are available for the guidance.
Well managed Security check, Baggage counter and many other counters.
There are 2 Domestic and International Lounges available.
Many shops and food courts are available, which we can access after our security and baggage check.

Staff are very polite and helpful 😊
They have buggy facilities also for kids and adults.

Very big airport with a-lot of gates and easy access.

The best part , there is reserved parking for the wheel chair or special needs.
At a time they can handle more then 20-30 or more people.

The wheel chair guy will take the person from the parking till you reach the airplane.

I would love to thank the airport authorities for having such experienced officers G.P.Mina and other all experienced team.

Note :
Special needs/ wheel chair passengers luggage , need to be carried. Or else the charges for the porter which is 500/- should be reduced for them only.

Well maintained international airport way long gates access .. well hygiene toilets … seating space near gates are good quality .. the lounge is under the floor and well maintained … sufficient parking and drop points .. has digi yatra gate at start level
