If you are going for masjid Or for a walk you need not pay an entry fee, entry fee is only for entry into the palace/musiem

The best thing Hyderabad City has is the Chiran Palace at Banjara Hills now called the KBR Park. This is the gift to the people of Hyderabad from the Nizam's of Hyderabad. The Mosque is located right inside the KBR Park. The entrance is separate.

Most peaceful and serene, the location is awesome in midst of old trees and peacock sounds

This Park is actually a land belonging to Nizam VIII of Hyderabad. Govt. took most of the land only the Palace belongs to the Royal family now. No entry for public. Chiran mosque is open during prayer times 5 times a day. The park should have been named after the Nizam VIII HEH Mukarram Jah.

Probably the most peaceful place in Hyderabad.
I am not supposed to judge prayer places but lemme tell you my experience.
I felt calmness here my mind found peace and the best part was gods beautiful creation the peacock.
There are many in number and the males are huge.
I haven’t got the opportunity to see the peacock with its wings open.
I would say to visit this place at least once to witness the serenity.
But a humble request keep the place clean.
There is timing for visiting the park but for mosque there are no timings but don’t misuse and try to get in as the park is monitored by CCTV

One of the oldest mosque and heritage mosque. Friday prayers are usually full with vip also coming to this mosque makes it a little more congested due to their security, otherwise a beautiful and peaceful place to offer namaz with peace and tranquility.
Friday namaz usually starts by around 1:35. It's very nice to offer Namaz with such surrounding. You usually tend to see peacocks roaming around.

Such a Peaceful place in centre of the city

Mosque situated in the middle of a wooded place was an awesome experience. Its an historical place with Chiran palace located inside built by nawab. And its an awesome place for a morning walk.

Absolutely peaceful and calm. You must visit here for salah, specially Fajar. You'll be awestruck with the natural environment of the mosque, as this is situated inside the KBR Park with the forest trees surrounding the mosque. Apart from this all, visit for Asar Salah, after the prayers you can have a walk around the park and get back for Magrib to give a peaceful ending to the day. My personal recommendation for salah at this place is for the reason it is isolated from crowd or unwanted gathering. Peace.

One of the best mosques in the city, best place to prayer. Peacocks will be roaming around you while you are praying.

Best place to wind down, best time to visit the mosque is in Asr.

Beautiful mosque designed by an Anglo Indian architect remind one of the work of Jorn Utzon the designer of th Sydney opera house. The mosque is surrounded by the KBR park and all it's Flora and Fauna. A must visit for modern architecture lovers.

Near to LV Prasad Eye hospital and inside kbr park with special darse quran on every Sunday at 7:15 am onwards by Professor Rashid Nasim Nadwi sahab. Natural surroundings with lush green.

Grew up going to this masjid. We call it the mukarram jah masjid. The entire park belonged to prince mukarram jah, the grandson of mir Osman Ali khan (nizam of Hyderabad). Then chief minister Chandra babu naidu took over the land (did not buy it) named it kbr park.
Feels sad that the government took away that piece of land in the heart of the city, banjara hills. Its around 400 acres, the value of that land I can’t even imagine.
Sometimes the prince comes to the juma prayer with his two sons. Very few people know the fact that the prince himself designed the masjid. His palace is further down the road into the park.
This masjid will always have a special place in my heart. May Allah protect it and the people that visit it till the judgement day. Ameen.
