Van Lavino Cafe & Patisserie

Visited this charming cafe recently and it's a haven for dessert lovers. The ambiance is decent, providing a delightful atmosphere. What sets it apart is the affordability, making it a standout choice compared to other cafes. I tried the Tres Leches and Hummus Toastie, both scoring above 7.5 and 7 respectively on my taste scale. A definite must-visit for those seeking a sweet escape without breaking the bank.

One of the best desserts in town.
Ambience is good but the food is yum. All the bakery items are pretty reasonable too.
Do try their Tres leches, Eclairs and Classic french toast.

pizzas, but their Grilled Bombay Masala Sandwich stole my heart - loaded with potato, cucumber, beetroot, and tomato! It was spicy 🌶 🥪💚 Paired it with a refreshing Watermelon Mint Lemonade and a Lemon Iced tea. Ambiance was great, but service could be a bit quicker! 😊🍉

A must visit cafe in Jubilee hills.Ambiance is just fabulous & the maintenance is top notch.
Heaven for dessert lovers, the dessert section is huge. They have everything from cakes to ice cream, they even have a bread section.
Special mention to very clean and tidy washrooms !!!
Only complain I have is regarding the price,a bit expensive compared to other cafe's .

Arrived here after having the dinner so couldn't try out the Main Course item's.

Dessert's where damn delecious but a bit disappointed with the French Toast because of being little expensive & also hyped a bit too much.

Decent place to hangout with your friends or family. Very pretty ambience for a cafe. Food here has always met our expectations. Each dish is nicely done and deserts are must try. Also the drinks mojitos, fresh juices, cold coffee are delicious. Bathrooms are neatly maintained. They have added some great options of summer drinks which we didn’t try coz of price which seemed bit high. Overall would recommend this place if you are okay with the price range which I feel can be compromised.

Nice place to visit to indulge in your dessert cravings. Not very expensieve which I expected looking at the ambience. Very yummy pastries, didn't try the baked items as we just finished lunch. 😅

The coffee here was great and the pastries looked really good as well.

Had been to this place to buy a cake for my friend’s birthday.
The ambience is just fabulous.
Food here is damn delicious especially the deserts.
I had a cheese cake and a mac n cheese pasta.
The cake that I took was Black Forest cake.
Parking facility is also available. Staff is well trained and welcoming. COVID protocols are followed at all times. Must visit this place.

We went there on last Sunday. Ordered Green Apple Basil Fizz, Irish Cold Coffe.. both were too good.
Along with that in starter we ordered Mexican Chicken Chipotle, which was crispy. chicken was juicy. Also we ordered Old fashioned chicken burger. Loved it.
While leaving we packed biscoff cup cake and another one(don't remember the name.. something caramel).. both were yummy.

@vanlavino has revamped there outlet into an astonishing eatery! Visited this café & Patisserie for grabbing quick dinner. The infrastructure, ambience and the interiors post the make over as spectacular. With delicate illumination and state of the art seating, this place is picturesque! Tried some of their stunning looking dishes:
1) Grilled Chicken: Classic flavors with perfectly juicy grilled chicken served with mashed potato, garlic bread and salad on the side was wholesome pleasure.
2) Norwegian Salmon: Rightly cooked, moist and flavorsome Salmon, served with herbs, sauce and tomatoes on the side was lip smacking!
3) Peri Peri Grilled Chicken Burger: A decked up fully loaded burger with peri peri seasoned grilled chicken, cheese and salad. #VishualTreat
4) Pesto Rocket Sundried Tomato Pizza: simple and classic pizza flavoured with pesto and topped with tangy sundried tomatoes, over effortlessly baked pizza base was incredible!
5) Vol-Au-Vent: a bite size, appetizer of cheesy stuffed puff pastry was delicious!
6) Mac & Cheese Balls: served with herbs and dip on the side, this was a simplistic great combination of Mac and cheese rolled and fried with crispy coating. Couldn’t stop with just one!
7) Quinoa Rissotto: a unique dish with guilt free cheesy quinoa risotto served with sauted veggies on top and butter garlic bread on side. A complete filling meal!
The patisserie serves enchanting desserts and shake and is an absolute paradise for the sweet tooth people! Tried their flabbergasting desserts which were aesthetically appealing and tasty!
1) Special cake shake: loaded chocolate moist cake shake decorated with all the goodness of chocolate sauce, sprinkles, ice cream etc. This tall beauty was mesmerizing to look at and grab!
2) Signature French toast: fluffy moist classic French toast with honey and whip cream was delectable.
Apart from these, they literally has a dessert galore to choose from. Beautiful, tempting masterpieces to choose from.
Overall, the refurbished outlet is beguiling in the ambience and has some really good food items to choose from. An impeccable place to hang out in casually or special evenings.

Conveniently located on the main road of Jubilee Hills, this is an ideal place to come with friends and family for a meal.
Valet Services are availabale.
There is a wide range of dishes one can order from and though the order takes long to come( ours took 30 minutes to arrive), it is worth the wait.
There is ample choice for vegans and gluten free dishes too.
The choice of desserts is vast and tempting.
Highly recommend Van Lavino.

Van Lavino, one of the premium cafes in Hyderabad, is located at Road No.36, Jubilee Hills. The elegant decor of this European style cafe- restaurant makes its worth shine. With a hint of modern style in the air, their decor promises to make your dreams of being in an old-fashioned drama come true. The sprawling new space serves,world-class sweet treats like traditionally handcrafted French desserts. Indulge in a hearty breakfast or brunch here, savouring several English delights.
A dish called Norwegian Salmon is served , where the salmon's top layer is crispy. It's piquant, mouth-watering, and even if you revisit it after an hour, it's crunchy. Their grilled chicken is THE BEST. Extra crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, you won't want to put this chicken down! Mac n Cheese Balls totally delivers, with creamy and cheesy goodness in every bite.
Next up was the VOL-AU-VENT - Golden crispy flaky bite sized puff pastry topped with creamy garlicky mushroom sauce. This was just perfect with the appetizing combination of garlic and mushroom enclosed in a crisp and flaky pastry.
For the mains, we tried Roasted mushroom pizza, Pesto Rocket Sundried Tomato pizza, Peri Peri Grilled Chicken Burger and Italian Veg Burger. Be it the portion size, quality, flavour,taste, justice was done to the dishes.
Moving on to the desserts, which take the center stage here; Authentic, high-quality ingredients get magically transformed at the hands of expert patissierie chefs into a wide range of French cakes and desserts. Alphonso mango slice, Ferrero rocher Choux Bun and Caramel Choux Bun are some of the exotic dishes on the menu.

The best in town italiano taste cafe.
I would recommend this to anyone who is eager to treat their taste buds some real and exotic desserts.
I have tried the cheese garlic bread and mango based pastry and some choclate cake.
They were awesome and mouth watering.

They made the Italian desserts with a touch of Indian cooking style.
I really enjoyed my time there and the pricing is also pretty decent .
The ambience is dark themed and i really loved it.
Location is highly plus and easily accessible.

Starting with Mac and cheese ball which was very good and super cheesy with really yummy sauce.
Pesto Rocket sun dried tomato pizza: the pesto sauce was amazing with cheese on top!
Veg/non-veg Italian burger: I liked the veg one better ! One thing here the sauce is really tasty’
Vol au vent : This ring shaped puff pastry filled with mushroom and olives and jalapeños is a must try for mushroom lovers
Classic French toast, the show stopper! Never had something amazing like this ♥ perfect puffy bread and chocolate and caramel sauce to go with ! MUST TRY!
Lastly don’t forget to try their Mango Special seasonal desserts 🧁

This cafe is renovated and back with a bang!
With spectacular desserts and food this make it to the list of the must visit cafés in Hyderabad.
It has beautiful floral revamped interiors giving it a wonderful happy vibe.

ROASTED MUSHROOM PIZZA: A thin crust pizza topped with cheese and roasted mushrooms. Simple and classic. Loved it

PESTO ROCKET SUN DRIED TOMATO: Pesto fans can definitely enjoy this one. Simple ingredients tossed on a pizza baked to perfection. The crunch from the rocket leaves balanced the chewy and tangy sundried tomatoes

PERI PERI GRILLED CHICKEN BURGEr: spicy chicken stuffed inside burger buns. This was quite a loaded burger served with a side of fries.

ITALIAN VEG BURGGER : DELICIOUS BURGER SERVED WITH A CRISPY PATTY AND A GOOD SERVING OF FRIES.
NORWEGIAN SALMON : This dish was one of the best dishes of the evening. Salmon served on a bed of rice noodles. Loved it

GRILLED CHICKEN : A classic grilled chicken served with sautéed veggies, a mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes and bread. Loved the quantity of this dish. The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavourful. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious.

MAC AND CHEESE BALLS: crispy coated balls loaded with a cheesy filling. Creamy and rich.
Quinoa Arancini 340
VOL-AU-VENT: puff pastry topped with a creamy mushroom topping. A great appetiser for those mini bites.

Desserts: And then there were desserts. Absolutely loved each and every dessert they served. They also served French toast which was one of the best ones I’ve tried in Hyderabad. Absolutely must have. The mango desserts are loaded with fresh Alphonso mangoes and you can taste the rich and good quality ingredients in each bite. Must must have!

SPECIAL CAKE SHAKE: The special cake shake is for those who LOVE chocolate! It’s like THE ULTIMATE chocolate shake you can have! Probably a little too rich for me

Do try the MANGO CHOUX BUN, CARAMEL CHOUX BUN, FERRERO ROCHER CHOUX BUN , FROSTED CARROT CAKE, MANGO CHEESE CAKE, ALPHONSO MANGO SLICE, CINNAMON ROLL & RUSSIAN MEDOVIK

With an array of dainty patisserie items on display and an elaborate, eclectic continental menu, Van Lavino offers the best of both worlds to their patrons. The lavish interior is the first thing that strikes you as you enter the spot. From the furniture to the wall hangings, everything appears in sync with the elegant colour scheme. With their recent revamp of the decor as well as the menu, the place is really bringing out the charm. My personal favourites from their menu were

1.) Pesto Sundried Tomato Pizza - With a crusty sourdough base, their pizza complemented the hereby pesto real well. Too good for the price!

2.) Vol Au Vent - Crispy puff pastries stuffed with minced mushroom tossed in a cheese sauce.

3.) Grilled Chicken - A lovely garlic marinated hunk of chicken steak served in a bed of mashed potatoes and topped with mushroom sauce. Delicious and worth the price.

4.) Classic French Toast - Not a classic as such, but a real fancy one with brioche and Chantilly cream. This dish knocked it all out of the park!

Amazing place with amazing food. One of the best Cafe and confectioneries in Hyderabad I must say. With a wide range of cakes and baked items, they also offer quick bites like sandwiches, pizza or salads, accompanied by really good coffee and other cold beverages. Although the prices may appear a little bit pricey or expensive, the food is worth it. I personally liked the chicken club sandwich, one of the best I've had in Hyderabad.
Do visit this place. Cake orders and custom orders are also available, if ordered a day before.

Perfect place for pastry and snacks with the freshest quality. And it definitely comes for a price worth it. Nice ambience with tasty and freshly baked stuff.
